‘It’s Not Looking Good’ for Biden’s Auto-Pen Pardons, House Oversight Chair Comer Reports

“It’s not looking good for those pardons” President Joe Biden gave out to Hunter Biden, other family members and cohorts in his administration, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) said Thursday.

In an interview with Newsmax, Comer discussed Republicans’ investigation of how staff members used President Joe Biden’s auto-pen to sign documents on his behalf without his consent or, potentially, even his knowledge.

“We’re in the final stages of this auto-pen investigation: it’s not looking good for those pardons,” Rep. Comer explained:

“I could see a scenario where the pardons are declared null and void.

“We brought in all the people in the Biden inner circle. They all had different stories on how the auto-pen was used. But, one thing that’s been consistent is Joe Biden was AWOL.”

….

“You had a staff that was operating as president of the United States with that auto-pen – and I think that is going to throw in legal jeopardy all of the pardons for the Biden family, as well as the January 6 committee and Dr. Fauci and the list goes on and on and on.”

“So, I think that there’s going to be an opportunity now to get these people in court,” Chairman Comer said.

“The media will try to say it’s retribution, but it’s not retribution – it’s about accountability, it’s about getting the truth and it’s about abuse of power,” Comer said:

“I think the American people are now seeing the lengths to which people like (ex-FBI Director) Comey and the Bidens and Hillary Clinton went to try to defeat Donald Trump.”
