Ivy League Becomes Increasingly More Populated with LGBTQ+ Students, Survey Says

Hate to say it, but this doesn’t surprise me.

According to a report by the New York Post, the number of students at Ivy League universities who identify as non-straight is five times as much as the general public. In recent years, that number has been on the rise, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Supposedly, only seven percent of Americans are LGBTQ+, but at Ivy League universities in particular, the number of straight identifying people is dwindling.

News broke after a student survey at Brown University indicated that 38 percent of their student body isn't straight!

Brown had roughly 14 percent of its student body identifying as not straight in 2010, but now that number is 38 percent. Same thing for Yale. Reportedly, 29 percent of Yale’s 2023 class identified as something other than heterosexual when they were asked as freshman in 2019 whereas for the class who were asked in 2016 and graduated in 2020, only 15 percent of the class identified as not straight.

Like I said, this isn’t shocking.

Being part of the LGBTQ+ mob is trendy. It’s becoming more popular to identify as one or more of the letters than it is to not - so much so that now it's become common vernacular to ask someone’s pronouns the first time you meet them which, in and of itself, is pretty nutso.

Abigail Anthony, a Princeton grad, confessed that a “progressive and identity-consumed culture on elite campuses could be contributing” to the increase in gayness at the schools.

“Since sexual orientation identity is largely non-falsifiable, many people will claim LGBTQ status to join the ‘oppressed’ group,” she told The Post. “It could be that students at elite schools are more inclined to be obsessed with social acceptance and professional advancement, and … profess an LGBTQ identity to indicate their political beliefs on a campus that leans left.”

Similarly, Ben Appell, author of “Cis White Gay: The Making of a Gender Heretic” and Columbia grad, told the Post that he could see a trend of students identifying as LGBTQ simply to pull themselves out of the “rich kid” mold and into the “oppressed” LGBTQ groups.

“The Ivies have a lot of really privileged kids. I’m sure many are motivated to identify into a so-called marginalized community in order to earn some social cache,” he told The Post.

Others indicated that these Ivys are chock full of classes like gender studies, queer theory and whatever other made up garbage they can muster. Naturally, if these are the classes students are taking and they’re being graded on how well they know this sort of content, of course they’re going to start considering these delusions to be a reality! That’s like when you hear about someone who has has lice and your head starts itching. It's basically the placebo effect.

“Students take one queer theory course and come out as queer,” the author told The Post.

The Post indicated that at Princeton, 35 percent of seniors indicated that they were something other than straight while only 25 percent of freshmen identified the same way coming into the school. Supposedly nearly one in five Princeton grads came out while in college.

That’s what we call indoctrination and hopping on a bandwagon.

This is why it’s so dangerous to have these types of classes in schools. While the numbers are skyrocketing in the Ivy League, it's important to note that the same indoctrination techniques are used in grade schools.

Young kids are encouraged to read about gay sex, teachers hang trans flags instead of the American Flag and schools sponsor events that teach kids how to be queer. It’s all about getting these impressionable kids on the side of leftist propaganda. This is indoctrination and post-adolescent grooming at its core.

It’s very clear that being LGBTQ is a trend. It’s a social contagion that's taking over our nation and especially our schools. Identity politics is not a thing. Let's stop being gay. Let’s stop cutting off our genitals. Let’s stop identifying as delusions! Problem solved.
