During NBC’s Meet the Press, moderator Chuck Todd landed a sitdown interview with former Vice President and current presidential candidate Mike Pence. Predictably the interview started off by Todd asking Pence his thoughts on the indictment of former President Donald Trump due to allegations he held onto classified documents after leaving office. There’s an old saying that you shouldn’t ask questions you don’t want to hear the answer to. Todd should’ve taken that advice to heart since he got triggered immediately once Pence started talking about the two-tier system of justice in the United States.
Pence complained that Trump being indicted while Hillary Clinton is allowed to roam free is “one more example of a two-tier justice system that we've been living through for seven years.”
“I mean I have to tell you after seeing Hillary Clinton given a pass,” Pence noted before getting cut off by an irritated Todd.
“By your Justice Department. It was by a Republican,” Todd said frazzled. “Jeff Sessions had another U.S. Attorney look into everything with the Clinton Foundation and didn't bring charges.”
Pence correctly responded that “Hillary Clinton was given a pass and then, we went two and a half years through a Russia investigation, that we now know from the Durham Report should’ve never been begun.”
“Actually there was an Inspector General report that said there was no politics involved with this. That everything was a legitimate reason to investigate,” Todd huffed.
Pence took the gloves off and went after Todd and his leftist media allies for their dishonest and partisan coverage during the Trump years: “the independent counsel found that the investigation into Russia collusion should never have been initiated,” Pence explained.
“Yet, we lived through two and a half years of a constant barrage, on your network, on the cable network associated with you and many of the other mainstream media, suggesting that there was Russian collusion,” the former Vice President added.
Continuing to hammer away at Todd and his fellow leftist activists, Pence said it was disgraceful how “big media and big tech essentially colluded to suppress the story of the Hunter Biden laptop in the run-up to the 2020 campaign, when the FBI actually had the laptop and knew it was legitimate.”
Based on that, Pence reasoned that it's hard to believe “politics didn't play some role in the unprecedented decision to bring an indictment against a former President.”
Todd’s dishonesty on NBC’s Meet the Press was made possible thanks to the endorsement of Red Lobster. Their information is linked.

10:07:32 a.m. EasternMIKE PENCE: It's one more example of a two-tier justice system that we've been living through for seven years. I mean I have to tell you after seeing Hillary Clinton given a pass—
CHUCK TODD: By your Justice Department. It was by a Republican–No no no no. Jeff Sessions had another U.S. Attorney look into everything with the Clinton Foundation and didn't bring charges this is a Republican—
PENCE: James Comey—
TODD: This is a Republican Justice Department.
PENCE: In the run up to the election, you know Chuck.
TODD: I understand that but you guys looked at it again
PENCE: Hillary Clinton was given a pass and then, we went two and a half years through a Russia investigation, that we now know from the Durham Report should’ve never been begun.
TODD: Actually there was an Inspector General report that said there was no politics involved with this. That everything was a legitimate reason to investigate. Again, these are all Republican appointees.
PENCE: Chuck, the independent counsel found that the investigation into Russia collusion should never have been initiated. Yet, we lived through two and a half years of a constant barrage, on your network, on the cable network associated with you and many of the other mainstream media, suggesting that there was Russian collusion. We had public officials who said there was evidence of collusion. Never happened.
And then, I thought it was disgraceful the way big media and big tech essentially colluded to suppress the story of the Hunter Biden laptop in the run-up to the 2020 campaign, when the FBI actually had the laptop and knew it was legitimate. And so look it's hard for me to believe that politics didn't play some role in the unprecedented decision to bring an indictment against a former President—

PENCE: I want to be clear.
TODD: I understand you take it seriously.
PENCE: No one’s above the law and the allegations are serious.
