A seventh grade child was removed from his gym class for making students feel “unsafe” due to what his t-shirt said. On the shirt were “five simple words,” “there are only two genders.”
Yes, a 12-year-old kid got yelled at for wearing a shirt that supports biology at the most basic level.
The child boldly stood in front of his Massachusetts school board to explain his situation and how biased the school acted.
As he stated, he was minding his own business in his gym class when he was pulled out by two adults to have a conversation about his shirt. Supposedly he was told he wasn't in trouble but confessed, “It sure felt like I was.”
The child was told that his shirt made students feel “unsafe” and that he had to change out of the article of clothing in question. He explained that his shirt was “nothing harmful, nothing threatening, just a statement I believe to be a fact.” When he kindly told the adults that he didn’t want to change his shirt, his father was called.
In his speech he asked the board if his rights were less important than the feelings of the so-called “protected class” of people that his shirt offended.
Good point, kid. It looks like the school cared more about woke students' delusion - or the offended teachers' own ignorance - than about your First Amendment rights. As a matter of fact, the child pointed this out exactly in his next line.
“I don’t complain when I see pride flags and diversity posters hung throughout the school," he said. "Do you know why? Because others have a right to their beliefs just as I do.”
Tucker Carlson replacement?
Unironically, the child stated that “not one” person, student or staff, told him they were offended or bothered by his shirt. As a matter of fact, he confessed that some students told him they liked his shirt and wanted one for themselves.
It’s a shame that a child was pulled out of class for essentially no reason. If a child can wear a shirt with the word “PRIDE” on it, if the school can hang flags supporting the LGBTQ community, and if others are allowed to express their far-left views, then why can’t a kid wear a shirt that he believes is fact?
This is exactly what we’re dealing with in the United States public school system. Schools are no longer places where kids learn how to read or write. They’re places where kids are groomed and indoctrinated with leftist progressivism, and anytime that is challenged, all hell breaks loose.
