The amount of money that people will spend to push the pro-abort narrative is insane.
New Jersey plans to award $15 Million in zero-interest loans and grants to “health care” facilities that provide abortions for “facility improvements and increased security.” In other words, the state plans to make sure facilities can perform as many abortions as possible.
Governor Phil Murphy (D) claimed that the new financial aid is a result of Roe’s overturn in the summer of ‘22 as he apparently thinks that killing unwanted babies is a “fundamental right.”
"This is a matter of defending a fundamental right that remains under attack throughout our country. New Jersey will continue to serve as a safe haven for both providers and patients,” Murphy said in a statement.
According to Fox 29, the money will be distributed sporadically and over six-million dollars has been approved for 15 applicants including Planned Parenthood. No surprises there.
The money is supposedly to help with heightened security risks … ya know because pro-lifers are violent tyrants who attack pro-abort centers. Oh wait! That's not true! The pro-aborts are the main culprits of post-Roe violence, yet New Jersey still wants facilities to apply for a grant from a five million dollar pool for heightened security risks.
*Insert eye roll*
To be eligible for the grants, facilities must provide a “full spectrum of reproductive health services," which of course include abortions.
Kaitlyn Wojtowicz, with New Jersey’s Planned Parenthood Action Fund, was thrilled at the news. Here’s what she said about the new money:
I really see this as a great step toward making up for the lack of investment we saw for eight years. The reason it’s needed predates Dobbs. But what we saw with Dobbs is that so many people across the country are without care, and we see more people coming to New Jersey.
She also claimed that among the “improvements” will be updated parking lots to help women who are about to end the lives of their children feel “warm and welcoming.”
It’s depressing how New Jersey, among other left leaning states, is so willing to allocate extreme amounts of money to something so detrimental to the community. Abortion hurts women and children and that $15 million could be used more effectively and efficiently in so many other, better, areas that New Jersey may need.
But, that’s 2023 America where celebrating death is more common than promoting life.
