For the love of God, does “gender affirming care” have to be wrapped into every single one of Biden’s “strategies?!"
On Monday, the Biden administration’s Interagency Council on Homelessness indicated that its homelessness prevention plan includes training for shelter staff to learn how to provide “gender affirming care” to homeless people.
The plan aims to reduce the homeless population by 25 percent by 2025 and it’s first strategy includes working on current housing/shelter facilities. More specifically, it aims to “connect program participants to culturally appropriate and gender-affirming housing resources."
The plan states that "The key components to effective emergency shelter include culturally appropriate, gender-affirming, and specific, low-barrier access and housing-focused services aimed at rapid exits back to permanent housing.”
Gone are the days where we focused on getting homeless people educated, getting them jobs, getting them drug free, clothed and fed, or bathed. Now, our top priority is making sure that they are placed with equally confused people who can help encourage them to get their private parts removed or get hormones to help their gender transformation.
I’d argue that homeless people are already in a vulnerable physical, mental and emotional state. It does no good to further their frustration, instability and confusion by affirming a potential delusional sense of self identity.
Fox News indicated that the White House didn't respond for comment, as well as the fact that “the homelessness plan does not specify on what sort of transgender or harm reduction treatments are supported or encouraged.” After all, it's easier to get away with more if “guidelines” are vague.
This just points to the Biden administration’s undeniable prioritization of the transgender and “inclusive” agenda. They’ve already dedicated numerous executive orders to “protect” trans people and youth and have had no problem allowing government funded organizations help push the trans agenda.
Now they want our homeless population to be questioning their gender identity as a political ploy. Think about it, the more confused and vulnerable people are, the easier they are to control as they need to rely on the government more and more.
This is all a little game, and the left is trying to be the ringleader.
