Unity. It’s the word that comes to mind when leftwing nutcases won’t even allow a famous pop star to support her own father’s business on social media because he loves America.
Last Friday, Firework singer and celeb Democrat activist Katy Perry promoted her father’s non-partisan, pro-American T-shirts on Twitter and apparently that was still way too fascist for these keyboard jockeys.
Perry has been stepping in it lately. In November the pop star was blasted for publicly stating she would be extending the olive branch to pro-Trump relatives in the aftermath of the election, and hardcore leftists fumed over the fact that she couldn’t hate those loved ones for their political differences. Less than a month later, Perry’s taking more heat for loving her dear old Dad, who has been trying to sell unifying patriotic gear that doesn’t speak to a specific side of the political aisle.
But again, remember that the American flag is racist to the left. For the true believers currently flaying Perry in her Twitter mentions, this war isn’t about beating Trump at the ballot box, it’s about dismantling everything the stars and stripes stands for.
Perry gave a shout out to her father’s business on November 27, tweeting out a video of his merchandise which in this case included him promoting a T-shirt with artwork depicting a ballot with three choices: Republican, Democrat, and USA. The USA box was checked of course, as the point was whether you voted Biden or Trump, it’s about being American first and foremost.
In the ad, Perry’s father asked, “Hey everyone, are you tired of the division that is destroying our country? Are you sick of losing your family and friends because they just don’t agree with your political views?”
“Well I am,” he declared, adding, “no matter what you believe, we are all Americans and I designed this T-shirt because I want people to know that even though you may have a different religion or political view than I do, I will still be there for you.” Well, that’s endearing.

Katy Perry thought so, commenting on the post, “We haven’t always seen [eye] to [eye] but I’m proud of my dad n bro for coming up with this! Head to @NothingButUSA store for the vibes.” Though the concept of unity was wasted on hardcore leftists, who couldn’t even let Perry offer kind words to her own father.
One user slammed Perry for promoting the “propaganda” of “loving your conservative parents.” Oh right, what a wicked agenda. Katy should have her parents arrested. That same account also made the asinine take that it’s a point of “PRIVILEGE” that Perry gets to have a relationship with conservative parents. Should Perry’s family apologize for still trying to prioritize family over politics.
Another user received nearly two thousand “likes” for his comment which said, “Damn you really woke up and said ‘fuck the few gay fans I have left’ huh?” Oh yeah, because the gays need Katy to hate her dad.
Verified user and bitter Leftist YouTube commentator Brian Tyler Cohen also responded, commenting, “lol both sides-ism AND a grift. two for one!” Oh yeah, it’s sooo lame to not hate half the population, right? Sorry, Miss Perry. We’re really going to need you to disown your flag-waving father.
