The Hollywood Left was NOT happy about Donald Trump’s impeachment acquittal or his State of the Union speech. This past month saw celebrities like comedian Sarah Silverman react to “crooked” Trump’s SOTU address by comparing him to “1930s Germany” leaders. Bette Midler called the President a “sack of stinking, steaming garbage” and a “spreader of hate.”
She was joined by fellow 1970s songstress/actress Cher going off in an all-caps Tweet claiming “illiterate, limp” Trump was “afraid” of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
However, former Pink Floyd band member Roger Waters may have topped them all with his hate-filled rant to Rolling Stone magazine as he charged Trump was: “becoming the biggest tyrant and mass murderer and mass destroyer of everything that any of us might love.”
[LANGUAGE WARNING]
The following are just a few of the most ridiculous celebrity freakouts from the past month:
Trump Supporters “Misled by Crooked President”
“Trump lies to the people who love and trust him. Why wouldn’t they believe him? Like 1930s and ’40s Germany- it’s too insane to believe this world leader is lying to us. But he is. And it’s dividing a nation who, truly, mostly agrees on what is right and wrong. These people are our brothers and sisters. They are not assholes. They are being wildly misled by a crooked president and his terrified henchmen. To say do not trust the MSM- this is the ONLY media held accountable for what it writes.”

Bad Bette
“Poor Rush. Poor, fat, stupid, sick, hypocritical, drug addicted Rush. Back when he was using, he admitted to taking over 30,000 OxyContin. You know what that means? He’s not just a moron, he’s an Oxymoron!”
— February 5 tweet by singer/actress Bette Midler.
“#DonaldTrump is #TyphoidMary, a carrier & spreader of hate, poison & despair, infecting everyone unlucky enough cross his path. Many of us are physically sick from him, yet he enjoys ‘perfect’ health. What is the name of a person who makes everyone sick but not sick themselves??”
— February 6 tweet by singer/actress Bette Midler.
“You, Donald, are a 5’10”, 300 pound, lift-wearing, sack of stinking, steaming garbage. Your thoughts are garbage, your actions are garbage, your buildings are REAL garbage, your fortune is garbage, and everything and everyone in your orbit is garbage. You just have that effect.”
— February 13 tweet by singer/actress Bette Midler.
Screaming About State of the Union
“MISUNDERSTOOD..HE SNUBBED HER.IVE BEEN ALIVE THROUGH 13 PRESIDENTS,& HES THE MOST VENGEFUL ILLITERATE,LIMP, IMITATION OF A MAN EVER.HE USES AS HIS PERSONAL ATM.THE REASON HE DIDNT WANT TO SHAKE NANCY’S HAND IS BECAUSE HER ARE BIGGER THAN HIS . HE’S ALSO AFRAID OF HER”
— February 4 tweet by singer/actress Cher reacting to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech.
“One thing is clear: @SpeakerPelosi knows how to capture a moment. All I remember from the last SOTU was her iconic handclap. All I will take away from this one is her ripping up the speech. She does more without saying a damn word than Trump can do with 10,000 lies.”
— February 4 tweet by actor George Takei.
Angry About Acquittal
“the worlds turned upside down - its batshit crazy - watching them condone his lies with applause - u r evil corrupt and the biggest liar in the history of the world #openYourEyesAMERICA.”
— February 6 tweet by comedian/former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell reacting to Donald Trump’s post-impeachment acquittal speech.
Trump = “Biggest Tyrant and Mass Murderer and Mass Destroyer of Everything”
“We’re living here in a fool’s hell. The United States of America is not a fool’s paradise; it’s a fool’s hell....Donald Trump is somewhere down here, floundering around in the muddy water at the bottom of the oligarchic pool. This is a man who has failed at fucking everything in his life except becoming the biggest tyrant and mass murderer and mass destroyer of everything that any of us might love or cherish in the whole [world], only because he has the power.”
— Former Pink Floyd band member Roger Waters in a February 12 interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
Outside Election Interference Is Okay Now
“Donald Trump is public enemy number one....Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. This dude is standing in the way of anything significant happening in the world as far as climate change is concerned. It’s f***ing terrifying and it keeps me up at night....I’m inviting the rest of the world to get involved in our next election, because the fate of the world is in the f***ing balance.”
— Actor Mark Ruffalo in a February 22 interview with The Independent.
