Melber Tongue-Bathes Behar: You Care, But 'You Don't Demean'

Somebody, please! Free Ari Melber from the isolation chamber in which he has been cruelly confined!

On his MSNBC show The Beat Tuesday evening, the obliviously misinformed Melber sycophantishly slobbered over The View co-host Joy Behar, saying that she cares in a "nice way," but "you don't demean."

What? Has Melber ever viewed The View? If so, he might have caught Behar, among many other demeaning things, saying that Vice President Mike Pence had a "mental illness" for being a believing Christian. Or Behar mocking Melania Trump for "being in Slovenia doing nothing" before she met Donald Trump.

If there is one person who has made an art form out of demeaning people on daytime TV, it is Joy Behar. Tune in, Ari!

Melber's misplaced praise was too much even for Behar, who admitted: "It's hard not to [demean] with President Pinocchio in the White House." Here it was in context:

BEHAR: And I care. No, I care a lot. I care a lot.

MELBER: You care a lot, but you also, you care in a nice, authentic way. You don't demean.

BEHAR: Other people? I try not to.

MELBER: You try not to.

BEHAR: Well, it's hard not to, with President Pinocchio in the White House.
