MSNBC host Nicole Wallace got really sweaty Wednesday afternoon after watching a soundbite of Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders supporting all Americans right to free speech. The clip enraged Wallace so much that she flipped out and forever banned any more soundbites of the Press Secretary from being shown on her show.
The liberal media were foaming at the mouth on Wednesday because Trump supporters, which they despised, had the audacity to boo and heckle CNN’s Jim Acosta at a Trump rally the previous night. “In case you were curious what that looked like from his perspective, he shared his first-person view on his Twitter account. By the way, it took us a while to bleep and blur everything that needed to be bleeped and blurred to make this PG for our viewers,” Wallace chided as she began the segment.
Wallace made a snide comment about President Trump being a “classy guy” for retweeting the video before she shared the Sanders soundbite that drove her over the edge:
WALLACE: Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about this in today's briefing. Her first answer was a recounting of the responsibilities of the press. So they tried again.
DAVID MARTOSKO: Does the White House support that or not?
SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS: While we certainly support freedom of the press, we also support freedom of speech and we think that those things go hand in hand.
“Joining us now, The New York Times chief White House — You know, we're not going to air that anymore. Let's make that the last Sarah Huckabee Sanders clip ever aired at four o’clock. Yup, that’s it. You know, it makes me sweat. That is vile,” Wallace screeched.
For some bizarre reason, Wallace really wanted viewers to know that she was sweaty because she claimed the clip of Sanders ‘made her sweat’ not once but three times. “It makes me sweat. This is someone who complains about a restaurant that exercises their First Amendment right to kick out someone they think is obliterating democratic norms,” she whined. “Seriously it made me sweat.”
Wallace was so flustered (and apparently so sweaty) that she couldn’t properly introduce New York Times media correspondent Jim Rutenberg, and needed some time to cool off. “While I gather—Jim Rutenberg’s here. We’re going to get into this. Heilemann set up lies. I'm gathering myself. Let's watch some lies,” she bumbled as clips of Trump started to play.
The irony here was so great. Wallace’s response to Sanders supporting the First Amendment was to ban clips of her from ever airing on her show. And the liberal media wonder why the public views them as out of touch and deranged.
