For all that the Democrats talk about feminism and equality for women, they sure have a knack for linking themselves to Hollywood sex scandals.
In the wake of the CNN piece, published today, with allegations from eight women against actor Morgan Freeman, it’s interesting to note that once more another Hollywood figure linked to the Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign is accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. In 2016, Freeman narrated four campaign videos for Hillary Clinton and was an outspoken advocate for her bid for election.
In 2012, Freeman voiced an ad for Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, and donated a total of $1 million to the Obama SuperPac. Later, in 2016, Freeman was actually spotted dining with President Obama, according to the Hill. And towards the end of that same year, President Obama gave Freeman the National Medal of Arts.
According to CNN, Freeman “subjected” the women he worked with in “production capacities” to “unwanted touching.” No one reported Freeman because “they feared for their jobs.” Three entertainment reporters, including one who worked at CNN, had Freeman say inappropriate things to them. A writer for the show Madam Secretary, which was co-produced by Freeman, told CNN of an incident in which Freeman was inappropriate with women at his 79th birthday party.
Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama worked with such corrupt Hollywood abusers as Harvey Weinstein. And of course, Bill Clinton is no stranger to sexual abuse allegations. Morgan Freeman played a key role in both of their presidential campaigns, even narrating a 12 minute mini-documentary on Hillary Clinton, which debuted at the Democratic National Convention in the summer of 2016.
