Giving Tuesday is intended to be a reminder to give to others, following the retail shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
All kinds of nonprofit groups and charities ask for donations on Giving Tuesday, but at least seven liberal groups including big names like the American Civil Liberties Union and GLAAD name dropped President Donald Trump in their campaigns — negatively, of course.
The ACLU, NARAL Pro-Choice America, the Women’s March, GLAAD, Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), Friends of the Earth, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and National Iranian American Council all seized the opportunity to frame their fundraising efforts as a fight against Trump.
The ACLU used Twitter to advertise their matching campaign as providing “twice the strength against Trump in court.”

The ACLU has received more than $35 million from billionaire George Soros since 2000 and has defended radical individuals like the Islamic cleric who inspired the Fort Hood mass murder in 2009.
The Soros-funded pro-abortion group NARAL encouraged supporters to make their Giving Tuesday donations in honor of Mike Pence as a way to “Fight back.” NARAL has received more than $665,000 from Soros.
Beat those Trump administration blues by sticking it to Mike Pence and donating in his name to support #reprorights. Every #GivingTuesday donation to NARAL will be DOUBLED! Donate here → https://t.co/22sfh7BJVK pic.twitter.com/TYSQtdN7gg

Trump and the GOP have made it clear this year they'll stop at nothing to undermine women’s basic rights. Fight back by giving to NARAL on #GivingTuesday: https://t.co/MGjwMHsqyk

Women’s March organizer Tamika Mallory urged her Twitter followers to donate directly to the march organization on Facebook. Though it was unclear exactly what the donations would fund beyond supporting “organizing efforts.”
Support @womensmarch so we can continue to uplift marginalized women's voices and resist Trump! #GivingTuesday

While the Women’s March was not directly funded by Soros, he gave more than $246 million to march partners between 2000 and 2014. The January 2017 march pushed liberal agendas including “LGBTQIA rights,” “worker’s rights” and “environmental justice.” It also excluded pro-life women, and was sponsored by Planned Parenthood.
One of the nation’s foremost LGBTQ advocacy groups, GLAAD, also asked for donations on Giving Tuesday to “fight the Trump administration’s attempts to target LGBTQ people.”
On #GivingTuesday and every day, we are fighting for our future. We know the Trump administration will keep attacking LGBTQ rights — and we will be there every step of the way to fight back. Donate now to join us: https://t.co/Gcz9x9cuz0 pic.twitter.com/6J3avSEbh6

GLAAD events have become a haven for liberals criticizing Trumpt. At the GLAAD media awards in May 2017,Rosie O’Donnell joked about sending a tweet to Trump that read, “F--k you, Donald. From the Gays.” Will & Grace actress Debra Messing argued, “It’s time to make America gay again!”
“Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, traditionally a day of gift giving and philanthropy. Will you give $10 to stand up to Donald Trump?” a Nov. 27, email from CSPI asked. CSPI is a food police group with a long history of demanding increased regulation, often with the and the liberal media’s support. media have devoured it. What CSPI’s mission of “providing advice and advocacy toward a healthier food system” has to do with standing up to Trump remains a mystery.
Other liberal groups, including the environmentalist group Friends of the Earth, the anti-NRA Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) and pro-islamic group National Iranian American Council (NIAC) also called for donations to resist Trump.

CSGV criticized both Trump and the “NRA’s dangerous guns everywhere agenda” on Twitter.
This #GivingTuesday @CSGV is depending on your support more than ever. We need your help to fight Donald Trump and the NRA's dangerous guns everywhere agenda. Thank you for your generosity! https://t.co/sFQPl0ZsK6

Soros has given at least $345,350 to NIAC. In its fundraising plea, it boasted it “helped block Trump’s first two Muslim Bans” and was influential in blocking the third as well.
It’s #GivingTuesday! Here’s why you should support us today:

1. We were part of the coalition that helped block Trump’s first two Muslim Bans. Trump was then forced to issue a third one. Then we helped block that too. pic.twitter.com/4QwwJTMjPW
