Featuring climate change films is no longer enough for Sundance. This year, there’s a whole category dedicated to environmental propaganda. Even eco-porn.
“For the first time in the history of the festival, Sundance is spotlighting more than a dozen films under one theme with its new Climate Program,” including a hardcore porno with all the sex scenes removed, The Hollywood Reporter wrote on Jan. 18. The Climate program is a partnership between Sundance Institute and The Redford Center (an organization founded by Sundance president Robert Redford that focuses on social and environmental issues).
Sundance’s 2017 climate category, which includes 14 documentaries, short films and “virtual reality experiences,” “marks the first time that Festival programmers have focused efforts to highlight a specific cause,” Sundance reported.
An Inconvenient Sequel, Al Gore’s follow up to his 2006 slideshow, An Inconvenient Truth is headlining the 2017 climate focus. Hollywood Reporter Tatiana Siegel fawned over Gore’s new film in the The Hollywood Reporter’s Jan. 27 cover story. Siegel heaped praise on Gore while ignoring his hypocrisy and false predictions.
The other 13 climate change films include a documentary focusing on the “unprecedented” vanishing of coral reefs; a short “hardcore porno” in which “all sex scenes have been removed as to not distract from the conscious message” (imagine that! Or don’t); and a virtual reality montage of “collapsing glaciers,” “rising sea levels,” and “raging rivers of ice melt” which are all “visceral warnings of our planet’s future.”

Sundance has long promoted climate change alarmism and other liberal issues like abortion, gay marriage, and gun control.
It also received funding from a host of liberal donors including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, The Ford Foundation, The Gates Foundation and The Knight Foundation.
