If there’s a competition to see who can have the most dramatic media meltdown in response to Donald Trump’s election, then comedian Michelle Wolf is definitely in the running.
For Wednesday night's Daily Show , host Trevor Noah invited Wolf on air for her reaction to Trump’s win in the 2016 presidential election. She began her three and a half minute outburst, “As my autocorrect would say, duck this ducking election.”
She lamented the loss of Hillary Clinton, an “experienced politician,” to Trump, a “racist, fake gynecologist.” “America, I mean, I knew you were sexist,” she arrogantly asserted before bemoaning that Americans chose a president who “only sees us as ass and tits.” She continued, “Even Porn Hub thinks we’re more than that.” Does it?
Bringing up the lewd comments on tape Trump made about women, Wolf ranted, “How are you supposed to be able to handle a country if you can’t handle a pussy!”
Noah, quick to thrust the blame on all men, remarked, “Men really screwed the women over.” But Wolf hysterically interjected, “We’ve always known that there are some men that are against women. What fucking blew my mind in this election is that forty-two percent of women voted for Trump. Forty-two percent!” Interestingly, she added that some of the women who voted against Hillary did so “because she’s a woman.” “That’s right, women can be misogynists too,” she mentioned moments after criticizing almost half of the women in America for voting for Trump.
In case Wolf’s on air head explosion wasn’t dramatic enough, she choked up at the end of the segment, delighting everyone who was worried the media craziness would stop after the election.
