Amid all the celebratory media coverage hailing the partisan stunt by House Democrats on Tuesday to pass a resolution condemning President Trump as racist, on NBC’s Today show Wednesday morning, correspondent Peter Alexander particularly touted the “heavily diverse” liberal lawmakers supporting the legislation while “white men” in the GOP did not.

On Monday, all three network morning shows admitted immigration arrests over the weekend appeared to be nothing more than “routine enforcement actions,” however, that did not stop the broadcasts from continuing to fearmonger on the issue and warn that the “threat” of Immigration and Customs Enforcement doing its job was “still not over.”   

Americans are celebrating the nation’s birthday today at Fourth of July events all over the country. But media outlets throughout the years have used Independence Day to bash the country. From the now disgraced Matt Lauer on the Today show, to CNN, to Time magazine, the Fourth has been a time not of patriotic celebration, but of shame.

On Monday, NBC’s Today show turned to national security analyst and former Obama administration official Jeremy Bash to slam President Trump’s DMZ meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un as “dangerous.” Bash, who worked for a president that eagerly negotiated with Iran and Cuba, complained about Trump’s trip being “symbolism over substance.”

Despite the fact that there were four North Korean nuclear tests under President Obama and only one under President Trump (none in almost 2 years) and gave everything away to Cuba for nothing, Sunday’s editions of ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Sunday Today rushed to declare Trump’s historic meeting with Kim Jong-un at the DMZ to be nothing more than just a photo op.

While analyzing the first Democratic debate, on Thursday, ABC’s Good Morning America actually admitted the far-left ideology of many of the 2020 candidates and even fretted that those radical positions were “playing right into” President Trump’s reelection strategy.  

On Wednesday, all three network morning shows touted news that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller would testify before Congress on July 17th as a win for Democrats who hope to make the event a “blockbuster television event” filled with “high theater.” Reporters seemed giddy as they listed the questions House Democrats would likely ask Mueller about the Russia investigation.

Appearing on Wednesday’s Today show to preview the upcoming Democratic debates, NBC News political analyst and former Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill was surprisingly honest when she predicted the events “probably will be the end of the road” for several candidates and urged viewers to “tune in tonight just to see who makes a fool of themselves.”
