Al Sharpton to Start News Busting?
July 25th, 2015 8:17 AM
Al Sharpton has an hour every night on MSNBC to blast away at whoever he wants -- usually anyone who dares question the Obama administration. He has a media megaphone. NewsBusters would enjoy a nightly show on cable news to question the "objective" media. But Al Sharpton wants to start criticizing the liberal media which has been so willing to promote him over the years?

March 19th, 2015 7:05 PM
As NewsBusters has often reported, MSNBC's line-up has led the cable news channel to a freefall in the ratings, with Baltimore Sun media critic David Zurawik blasting the schedule as “unwatchable” and “24 hours a day of mess.”
In an article posted on Thursday, Politico columnist Dylan Byers reported that the channel's daytime year-to-date viewership “is down 21 percent overall and 41 percent in…

'Reverend' Sharpton Mocks Scott Walker, Wishes 'Happy Darwin Day'
February 14th, 2015 6:06 PM
“Reverend” Al Sharpton isn’t too big on the Bible, certainly not on the tale that God created the world and everything in it. MSNBC tweeted out Sharpton’s Thursday night segment where he wished his viewers and guests “Happy Darwin Day” three times, and mocked Gov. Scott Walker for skipping an evolution question in a London interview.
A snarky commenter on MSNBC.com noted that Sharpton was…
What About Al Sharpton's On-Air Lies, 'The Smoking Gun' Asks
February 11th, 2015 5:18 PM
The Smoking Gun website has a great question today that the suits at NBC Universal really should be pressed to answer. Hint, it involves a certain Baptist preacher with his own show on MSNBC who has a penchant for repeatedly violating the Ninth Commandment (among others).

WashPost's Milbank: Obama On Track to Be As Popular As Reagan
January 28th, 2015 5:10 PM
On MSNBC's PoliticsNation on Tuesday, host Al Sharpton touted liberal Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank making a "bold prediction" about the remainder of Barack Obama's presidency: "...you wrote, quote, 'If the economy continues on its current trajectory, as most expect, he'll leave office a popular president and leave the 2016 Democratic nominee with a relatively easy past to victory.'"
Bozell & Graham Column: Al Sharpton's Magical Mystery Tour
January 6th, 2015 10:40 PM
During the Christmas season, the national media hoped to once again dip the entire Republican Party in the mire of David Duke and other racists, to spread that taint across the political landscape. Republicans fought back with Obama’s long association with his racist Reverend Jeremiah Wright, which the media worked hard to erase as utterly irrelevant.
But here’s someone who hasn’t been removed…

Sharpton Guest: Men Wear Feminist T-Shirt For Ulterior Romantic Reason
October 24th, 2014 9:16 PM
"Well, it is Friday night." That was Al Sharpton's sheepish way of excusing the not-suitable-for-network-TV line that a guest had just uttered on this evening's Politics Nation. Australian satirist Josh Zepps' zinger came during a discussion of a video ad in which young girls drop repeated f-bombs, supposedly in furtherance of feminism.
The ad was produced by a clothing company trying to cash…

August 26th, 2014 2:42 PM
Of all the left-wing charlatans who have been given hosting responsibilities at MSNBC, PoliticsNation's Al Sharpton is perhaps the worst example of trying to pass off an activist as a journalist. It's impossible to tell where the race-baiting reverend's advocacy ends and his supposed reporting begins. [Watch the video after the jump]
This is the second installment of the Media Research Center…
