Dr. Benjamin Carson made some more controversial statements Saturday. Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer made a humorous observation Friday about President Obama's recent dinner with Republican Senators. Appearing on Fox News's Special Report, Krauthammer joked, "It was twelve Senators at dinner. That's the same number as the number of Apostles."

The Obama administration announced Tuesday that it's canceling public tours of the White House beginning this weekend due to budget sequestration. On Thursday, Fox News hosts Eric Bolling and Sean Hannity each offered to pay for one week's worth of tours to keep the White House open to the public.

President Obama actually had the nerve this week to close down the White House to tours as part of budget sequestration. Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer on Fox News's Special Report Thursday observed, "The President’s travel expenses alone for the golfing outing with Tiger Woods would pay for a year of White House visits."

CNN harped on the controversy over Fox News head Roger Ailes calling President Obama "lazy" and Vice President Biden "dumb as an ashtray." The network covered it on five shows on Wednesday and Thursday, but three of the shows ignored that Ailes used Obama's own words. Conceivably the best line uttered by a member of the media this week concerning the sequester debate came from Fox News's Neil Cavuto Friday In a Your World discussion about the budget deliberations with Congressman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.), Cavuto marvelously said, "It seems that your Party lies a lot."

As NewsBusters reported, Fox News host Sean Hannity was rudely treated by Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) Tuesday.
