That’s how few stories three combined networks devoted in their evening broadcasts to the record run that sent stocks so high, the market followed by closing above 21,000 for the very first time.

Illegal border crossings have plummeted since Donald Trump took office, down a considerable 40 percent. The hosts of NBC’s Today, despite a four hour-long show, didn’t bother covering the development. CBS This Morning managed 24 seconds. ABC’s Good Morning America offered a scant 19 seconds. The three morning shows have an available eight hours of air time. 

It’s not everyday that a payroll jobs analysis “crushes” expectations by coming in 100K above the forecast. In the wake of House Republicans unveiling their proposal to repeal and replace ObamaCare Monday night, on Tuesday, the network morning shows signaled that the GOP would not be allowed to undo President Obama’s “signature policy” without facing a “grueling battle” in Washington.

Since Saturday, when Donald Trump first took to Twitter to accuse former President Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower, the morning and evening shows of ABC, CBS and NBC have devoted 107 minutes, 33 seconds to refuting the President’s claim. In contrast, new reports from previous weeks suggesting the Obama Administration did, in fact, initiate surveillance were essentially ignored at the time.

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on Monday night admitted that he “muted” the President of the United States on Twitter because Donald Trump represents “annoying people” you don’t want to hear.
