Despite two hours of available air time, ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday skipped a damning New York Times story with a bombshell claim: Hillary Clinton, during the 2016 presidential campaign, was told that Harvey Weinstein was a rapist, but still took his donations and raised money off him. 

CNN contributor Van Jones appeared on CBS’s The Late Show with anti-Trump “resistance” host Stephen Colbert Tuesday night, so naturally the president’s hostile relationship with the "Facts First" network came up.

On Monday, former Florida Democratic Congresswoman Corrine Brown was sentenced to five years in prison for using her fake charity, that was supposed to help poor students, to funnel money into her personal bank accounts. Despite how disgusting her crime was, the three broadcast networks failed to cover it since the sentencing.

On Tuesday, all three network morning shows touted the “immediate backlash” against President Trump’s decision to reduce the size of two national monuments in Utah. Little, if any, attention was paid to supporters of the decision, but liberal opponents threatening legal action got all the headlines.

CBS on Tuesday finally noticed a big win by the White House in the Supreme Court. Barely. The journalists on This Morning only allowed a scant 51 seconds to Donald Trump’s travel ban being allowed (for now) to go into effect. This is after the network ignored the 7-2 victory on Monday.

CBS’s comedy Superior Donuts is known for its liberal lectures on a variety of topics. But the Monday, December 4 episode, “Error of Admission” had its white characters “whitesplain” affirmative action to a black character, encouraging him to use the color of his skin as an advantage when applying to schools.

Over the weekend, it was discovered that Special Counsel Robert Mueller kicked a veteran FBI agent, named Peter Strzok, off his team for sending text messages that were disparaging of President Trump. President Trump scored a big victory on Monday as the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the administration to enforce the third iteration of the travel ban until they could hear the case sometime in early 2018. In its desperation to avoid any discussion of a potential major legislative win for the Trump administration and congressional Republicans, Monday’s NBC Today devoted an astonishing 15 times more coverage to the morning show’s fired co-host Billy Bush attacking President Trump in a New York Times op/ed than to the GOP tax bill working its way through Congress. 

Why does the tax bill promoted by the President and Republicans have low polling support? Maybe because journalists are constantly trashing it. On CBS This Morning, Monday, analyst Jill Schlesinger declared, “I think it's becoming clear that [the tax bill is] very much tilted toward corporations and the wealthiest Americans.” 

Saturday, The Washington Post and The New York Times reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller removed a top FBI investigator from the Russia probe, after it was discovered the agent had sent anti-Trump text messages. Not only that, but this same agent also led the Clinton e-mail investigation.  

Both Republicans and Democrats have faced serious allegations of sexual misconduct, but in the month of November, ABC, CBS and NBC spent twice as much time telling viewers about the Republicans’ problems. Nearly two-thirds of this coverage (4 hours, 27 minutes) focused on Republican politicians, compared to 2 hours, 6 minutes spent on the Democrats, a greater than two-to-one disparity.

Monday morning all three major broadcast networks, ABC, NBC and CBS failed to update their viewers with the news that ABC correspondent Brian Ross had been suspended over the weekend for his false “bombshell” report that led the media’s Russia reports Friday morning.
