Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives are pushing HR 40, a bill calling for a commission to study and develop reparation proposals for African-Americans. NBC IGNORES Record Low Employment Rate, New Jobs Report

The jobs report that came out Friday showed that the unemployment rate dropped to 3.5 percent; the lowest in half a century. Yet, the three evening newscasts on the “alphabet soup” networks decided that this historic occasion merited little to no coverage. NBC Nightly News did not bring up the jobs report at all while the other two newscasts spent a combined 32 seconds on the economy.

The pilot for CBS’s new series Evil last week was interesting to say the least. The show followed an agnostic forensic psychologist and a budding priest investigating the validity of supernatural events, and yet, religion wasn’t maligned every few minutes. But in the second episode, all that goodwill was spent on morally ambiguous priests and a cry of "implicit racism."
