Huffington Post Walks Back Claim Hannity 'Bounced From Cumulus': 'It W
As NewsBusters previously reported, the perilously liberal Huffington Post published an article Friday incorrectly claiming, "Sean Hannity is set to be bounced from Cumulus, the second-biggest radio network in the United States."
Eight hours after it was published, the headline and the text were radically changed to reflect that Hannity was the one doing the bouncing.

Glenn Beck: 'Oprah Winfrey - You Disgust Me
As NewsBusters previously reported, Oprah Winfrey said of the George Zimmerman verdict Thursday, "It's ridiculous to look at that case and not to think that race was involved."
On Friday, conservative talk radio host Glenn Beck responded with a monologue that began, "Oprah Winfrey - you disgust me!" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary, relevant…

MSNBC Guest Links David Dinkins to Lower NYC Crime, Ignores Giuliani
On Thursday's PoliticsNation on MSNBC, as host Al Sharpton devoted a segment to discrediting the NYPD's Stop-and-Frisk policy, Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, appearing as a guest, misleadingly recounted that crime began to drop during the early 1990s administration of Democratic Mayor David Dinkins to argue that the more recently implemented Stop-and-Frisk has had little impact on crime.
Rep…

Daily Kos: On the Right, a Bunch of Idiots
Sometimes liberals engage conservatives in a substantive debate about the issue at hand. Other times they just call them stupid. It happened twice on Daily Kos this past Sunday.
That morning, Mark Sumner portrayed the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) as an enabler of dumb (and lazy) Republicans:

Cal Thomas Column: Mark Levin's 'Liberty Amendments' Has Constitutiona
When I studied the U.S. Constitution in school, I learned that for a bill to become law it first had to be introduced in either the House or the Senate. Today, a cynic might say for a bill to become law a member of Congress must first be introduced to a lobbyist.
Much of government's dysfunction, cost and overreach can be traced to the abandonment of the constitutional boundaries the Founders…

Media's Favorite Alleged Sex Offender Kaitlyn Hunt Repeatedly Disobeye
Back in May, liberal media outlets like Slate, the New York Times and MSNBC made a bit of a cause celebre the plight of a young Florida woman, Kaitlyn Hunt, who is charged with sex offenses for a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old classmate. Hunt's parents claim she is only being prosecuted because of the same-sex nature of the relationship, suggesting that anti-gay bigotry was motivating…

NBC hasn't covered the ongoing Bob Filner sexual harassment scandal an almost a week, despite a fifteenth woman – a 67-year-old great grandmother – coming forward on Thursday, accusing the former congressman of making lurid comments to her. The last time that NBC's morning and evening newscasts covered the Filner story was on August 10, 2013.

Hillary Would Be 'Perfect' As President, Gushes Belatedly Smitten Ed S
Hillary Clinton is so dreamy to Ed Schultz. More accurately, Hillary Clinton is so dreamy to Ed Schultz ... now.
The braying left-wing radio host and MSNBC weekend parolee is surely hoping that Clinton has a short memory. Clinton and her lesser half are many things, but they aren't possessed of short memories. With speculation already on the rise about the 2016 campaign, Schultz is wasting…

Shock: CNN Anchors Tire of 'Silly,' 'Stupid' Rodeo Clown Controversy
What's going on at CNN? On Thursday afternoon CNN's Athena Jones called the Missouri rodeo clown controversy a "firestorm," but CNN's tone changed within a matter of hours.
On Thursday night's Piers Morgan Live, Morgan admitted "it's all a bit silly" and agreed with Newt Gingrich that the outrage over the stunt "is all a bit ridiculous." Then on Friday morning, anchor Carol Costello huffed…

Dem Judge in W.Va. Attempted to Frame Rival with Drug, Theft Charges
Here's another name to add to the "name that party" file: Michael Thornsbury. The Mingo County, West Virginia circuit court judge was the subject of a federal indictment on Wednesday "after federal authorities allege he targeted his ex-lover's husband and used his position on the bench to manipulate criminal charges against the man," Kate White of the Charleston [W.V.] Gazette reported…

Krugman's Selective Outrage: Goes After Paul and Cantor on 'Deficit
One thing which is arguably worse for one's health than Obamacare is the act of reading a Paul Krugman column at the New York Times.
In his latest equivalent of a DNC press release on Thursday published in Friday's print edition, Krugman lambasted GOP Senator Rand Paul and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor as "politicians who gleefully add to the misinformation" the general public allegedly…

MSNBC's Wagner, Panel Conflate Boston Bombings with ObamaCare Oppositi
MSNBC host Alex Wagner appeared to tie Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev to ObamaCare opposition and libertarianism on Wednesday’s Now, with liberal guests Jared Bernstein and Mark Potok taking part in the anti-conservative argument. Wagner suggested that ObamaCare “extremism would seem to be of a piece with this radicalized rhetoric” that influenced the terrorist Tsarnaev.
Bernstein, a former…
