The Washington Post gushed all over Jon Stewart in the Sunday paper as "the country's moral compass during the Bush and Obama years," but something was missing: his recent rant against the media for ridiculously over-selling the Mueller probe.

On Tiffany Cross's MSNBC show, regular guest Elie Mystal says that black Republicans like Herschel Walker are "tokens" who are "shucking and jiving for their white handlers." Cross said "I don't know a lot of black Republicans who really ride for black people."

Not good. The headline in The New York Times this past week was this: "CNN+ Streaming Service Will Shut Down Weeks After Its Start; A major investment by CNN, which poached big-name anchors and threw a splashy launch party, ends abruptly at the hands of a new corporate leadership team."

The only thing CNN Newsroom host Jim Acosta and former nominal Republican strategist Ana Navara know about cancel culture is that Republicans claim to be against it. Their ignorance of the issue was illustrated on Acosta’s Saturday show as the duo accused Florida Republicans of “cancelling” Disney by revoking its special tax status.

The media on Friday celebrated Earth Day with more lecturing about the need for expensive, left-wing solutions to climate change.  Indeed, NBC pushed it all week. But nothing compares to the callous, horrific way the networks used the pandemic --- the death of millions --- to cheer the “environmental upside” of COVID.

Twitter announced on Earth Day that decided to remove any ads on the platform that contain so-called “misinformation” about climate change. The Washington Post reported that the platform said the removed ads “contradict the scientific consensus on climate change.”

The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, recently purchased a 9% stake in Twitter, the social media platform that permanently banned former President Donald Trump and that conservatives accuse of suppressing their content. Musk's purchase made him Twitter's largest shareholder, and he vowed to take it over, possibly to turn it into a private company.
