Called to the Principal’s Office: CBS to Change Sunday Show Interviews

On Friday, CBS News all but admitted they’ve lost the public’s trust when they admitted they would no longer be chopping down (read: engaging in funny business with) taped interviews — such as one Sunday with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem — for their Sunday morning political talk show, Face the Nation, instead either airing them live or live to tape.

PBS Goes On Bender About 'Fascism' Amid Trump's Smithsonian Reforms

Anyone still confused why Republicans defunded PBS needs to look no further than a Thursday Amanpour & Company segment featuring host Christiane Amanpour and women, gender, and sexuality/African and American studies Prof. Imani Perry. Both would accuse President Trump of waging a war on knowledge as he seeks to reform the Smithsonian Institution, while Perry ironically spread…

NPR CEO Maher Tells Colbert Public Radio Needed To Protect Democracy

CBS’s Stephen Colbert welcomed NPR CEO Katherine Maher to Thursday’s taping of The Late Show for a grieving session on the latter being defunded. According to Maher, the fate of democracy depends on NPR, and only people who seek to divide and pit Americans against each other could possibly support defunding it.

Column: Google Gives You Wikipedia Tilt on Cable News Channels

While artificial intelligence may make the student research paper obsolete, if today a student does their own research and writing, it’s quite possible they will use Google to search their topic, and Google will invariably send the searcher to a Wikipedia article. If they were to write about cable news, the Wikipedia results are as biased as…well, cable news. Their entries on Fox News Channel…

NBC Is the Sole Legacy Nightly to Report Details of Bolton Raid

As is often the case with legacy newscasts, an item reported with great fanfare becomes discarded once it is no longer useful to a narrative. Such is the case with details of what was seized during last week’s raid of John Bolton’s home.

NPR in Denial: 'There Is No Message' in Minneapolis Church Shooting

National Public Radio on Friday tried hard to pretend there were no anti-Trump, anti-Christian, or anti-Semitic motives to be found in the August 27 murder of two children at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis by a male shooter who identified as “transgender.” The online headline to the radio report underlined the falsehood: “'There is no message': The search for ideological motives…

NYT Ties Trump to Hitler for Wanting 'Science with Practical Results'

Tuesday’s New York Times led with a 2,500-word screed by science reporter William Broad. “Historians See Autocratic Playbook in Trump’s Attacks on Science” took off from that headline and became quickly even more laughable, taking us back 400 years to the Inquisition. The prominent story was even illustrated with a painting of astronomer Galileo’s 1633 church trial for heresy for…

Puck’s Dylan Byers dropped the bombshell Wednesday night that the rumored deal was “on the 1-yard-line” for CBS News’s parent company SkyDance to acquire former New York Times writer Bari Weiss’s indefatigable site The Free Press and grant Weiss a senior role inside CBS News.

Cuomo Blows Up Erroneous ‘Genocide’ Claims Pushed By ‘Scholars’ & CNN

On the Wednesday edition of his eponymous NewsNation show, host Chris Cuomo took a rare swipe at his former employer, CNN and seemingly storied chief international affairs correspondent Clarissa Ward for giving attention to a dubious group of purported “scholars” who claimed Israel was carrying out a “genocide” against Palestinians in Gaza. Cuomo blew up the erroneous accusations by pointing…

MSNBC Tees Up Raskin To Call Trump's Anti-DEI College Push 'Stalinist'

If politics can be said to be a team sport, then MSNBC host and Thursday Morning Joe panelist Al Sharpton is the coach who puts the ball on the tee, and Rep. Jamie Raskin is the batter who takes the easy swing. Sharpton asked if a federal judge ruling President Trump illegally withheld funding from Harvard proves that his anti-DEI policies are political, and Raskin dutifully replied…

LEGA-XI MEDIA: CBS Outdoes ABC’s Servile Drooling Over ChiCom Parade

Anyone depending on legacy network news for coverage of China’s military parade, honoring the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, might have thought they were watching Chinese state media. Among these, CBS was the most effusive in their ChiCom suck-uppery.
