On Monday morning, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC dedicated varying amounts of time to Sunday’s American Music Awards (AMAs) but only footnoted supermodel Gigi Hadid pretending to mock First Lady-to-be Melania Trump’s plagiarism of a Michelle Obama speech using Mrs. Trump’s Eastern European accent.

Eager to seize on anything that could explain away Donald Trump’s victory, on Monday, all three network morning shows promoted the left’s latest excuse that false stories being shared on Facebook tilted the election in the President-Elect’s favor.

Maybe it’s Bernie Sanders’s fault that Hillary Clinton lost? That’s the latest blame game theory brought up on Monday’s CBS This Morning. Co-host Norah O’Donnell talked to Clinton’s primary opponent and wondered if he had “guilt” and “responsibility” for bringing up trust issues during the early part of the campaign.

In contrast, Hillary Clinton’s top operative received more questions on the state of the race.

The three network newscasts have not been interested in alerting Americans to just what Hillary Clinton has in mind for the Second Amendment. In a surprising twist, however, CBS This Morning on actually had a serious discussion about her plans and leaked audio of the Democrat on guns. 

The baffled journalists at CBS  finally discovered what should be a massive story: ObamaCare premiums will skyrocket in 2017 by 25 percent. Yet, after ignoring the story on Monday, CBS This Morning allowed a scant 88 seconds on Tuesday. On Monday, CBS This Morning hounded Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway over the second presidential debate. Norah O'Donnell wondered "what was the point" of spotlighting several of Bill Clinton's sexual abuse accusers just before the debate. Almost an hour earlier, O'Donnell and King, along with Charlie Rose, went much lighter on Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook.

On Monday, the hosts on NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning demanded Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway explain herself for daring to invite Bill Clinton’s sexual assault accusers to Sunday night’s debate. By contrast, Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook got nothing but softballs tossed his way on the same morning shows.

After a presidential primary in which the major broadcast networks assigned more than a lion’s share of coverage to Donald Trump overtopping his opponents, the lack of self-awareness following Sunday’s presidential debate was palpable as two network veterans bemoaned “how have we come to this” with so much “venom” between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

A broken clock is right twice a day and former President Bill Clinton was certainly right Monday when he criticized ObamaCare for hurting working people. “…The people are out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half,” he remarked at a campaign rally for his wife. The shocking admission by the liberal president went unreported…
