In the midst of President Trump visiting with victims of the mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso on Wednesday, on MSNBC, presidential historian and regular liberal pundit Jon Meacham bemoaned Trump’s response to the attacks and even derided his Monday White House address denouncing them as a “hostage video.”

It’s almost as if liberal journalists were all reading from the same Democrat talking points. During the 11:00 a.m. ET hour on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin led a panel discussion in which one guest after another rushed to paint President Trump’s upcoming July 4th event on the national mall as a scene reminiscent of a Soviet-era May Day Parade in Moscow’s Red Square led by “a president who very much wants to be seen as a strong man.”

On Monday, NBC’s Today show turned to national security analyst and former Obama administration official Jeremy Bash to slam President Trump’s DMZ meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un as “dangerous.” Bash, who worked for a president that eagerly negotiated with Iran and Cuba, complained about Trump’s trip being “symbolism over substance.”

On Tuesday, liberal Late Night host Seth Meyers appeared on NBC’s Today show, where he was greeted with congratulations from the cast for five years of using his show to promote Democrats and bash Republicans. The morning show crew was impressed with Meyers bringing his left-wing “point of view” to the late night landscape – not that politics was lacking in that arena.
