Appearing on Thursday’s CBS This Morning, liberal PBS filmmaker Ken Burns absurdly argued: “I’ve spent my entire professional life being straight down the middle, non-partisan. Just trying to tell American facts. I try, in public television, to reach all audiences.” He made that declaration despite being on the show to promote his anti-Donald Trump crusade in the 2016 campaign.

NewsBusters is continuing to document the news media’s role in enabling Hillary Clinton’s political career, showing how reporters showered were with positive news coverage while they savaged her opponents. Today, ten examples representing the softball treatment Hillary has received in TV interviews over the years.

In a display of awe and admiration, the cast of CBS This Morning were stunned to learn of the “generosity and trust” of Canadian families who currently host Syrian refugees in Toronto. During the interview with New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor, the hosts were excited to hear of the friendly and open Canadians while painting Americans (primarily Republicans) as “fearful” and Islamophobic.

Thursday’s CBS This Morning was already on a roll as they dismissed Attorney General Loretta Lynch “innocent” meeting with former President Bill Clinton when they dug themselves further into the hole of liberal media bias as they giggled in pleading with an investment company guest to be Hillary Clinton’s Treasury Secretary under the assumption she becomes president.

While credit goes to Thursday’s CBS This Morning for leading the broadcast with the controversy swirling around Bill Clinton having a 30-minute private meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch amid the FBI investigation to Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal, the hosts of the morning show proceeded to dismiss the suspicious incident as an “innocent” encounter.

ABC and NBC on Wednesday and Thursday ignored the highly suspicious news that Bill Clinton had a secret meeting this week with Attorney General Loretta Lynch. This as the Justice Department and the FBI are investigating Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server. Only CBS bothered to cover the story. 

The UK delegation was in Brussels Tuesday for the first time following their history making vote to leave the European Union. The members of European Parliament acted bitter and vindictive to Brexit supporter Nigel Farage, the same was true for CBS reporter Mark Philips on Evening News.
