Brian Sims harassing an elderly pro-life protester outside of a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood clinic and threatening to dox her. Cable news was not much better. Only Fox News bothered to give the story airtime.

Both DC and Marvel are hellbent on a new diversity initiative, looking to capture the hearts of a “global” audience. Maybe the comic book giants figure they’ve wrung as much money as they can from the straight, mostly white heros of DC’s Arrow and Marvel’s Avengers. A lesbian “Batwoman” is on the way from DC, and Marvel has confirmed that soon we will get our first gay crimefighter.  

Freeform’s liberal teen dramedy The Bold Type once again promoted a pro-abortion storyline, but this time they also went hard after pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, claiming they, “flood your brain with anti-abortion propaganda and false medical statistics,” and that they’re “run by anti-choice groups...designed to scare women away from getting medical help.”

In this day and age, parents have to be extra cautious about what their kids watch as not all cartoons are actually kid appropriate. Fortunately, there are some innocent shows out there, but then there are shows that aren’t as innocent as they seem. One such show, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, proved to fall in the latter category when their second season debuted on Netflix on April 26.
