Top U.S. Spanish-language television networks Univision and Telemundo virtually buried the Republican convention speeches by the parents of victims of violent crimes committed by people who are living in the country illegally, devoting less than a minute to the subject.

In a classic move by The New York Times, the leftist paper gave prime positioning on A3 of Saturday’s print edition to a piece boasting of the far-left Denk Party in the Netherlands that’s promised to create a museum about Dutch slavery and completely root out “xenophobia and racism” in the country to the point of banning anyone with racist rhetoric (in their eyes) from public office.

Despite it drawing nowhere near the same levels of enthusiasm that other speeches drew in the 2016 Democratic National Convention (DNC) thus far, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC went into full spin mode late Wednesday hailing vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine’s personality as a “suburban dad” whose “extraordinary” Spanish-speaking skills made for “a Spanish lesson down here.”

These past two weeks, Univision viewers have witnessed two strikingly different approaches to the initial coverage dedicated to the two major party candidates for Vice President of the United States, Indiana Governor Mike Pence and Virginia Senator Tim Kaine.

On Tuesday's New Day, CNN political analyst David Gregory inadvertently admitted to living in a liberal social bubble by declaring that he had never met anybody who supports Donald Trump's proposal to build a wall on the border with Mexico -- which the CNN analyst and former NBC anchor derided as a "stupid wall."

Closing out Monday’s NBC Nightly News at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), national correspondent Peter Alexander found it pertinent to heap effusive praise on far-left activist and illegal immigrant Astrid Silva being able to address the DNC as someone “living the American Dream” but “all you’re missing is being an American” because she came across the U.S. border illegally. 

Appearing as a panel member on Monday's New Day on CNN, during a discussion of the possibility that GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's proposed immigration restrictions to prevent Muslim terrorists from entering the country could effect immigration from European countries, CNN political analyst David Gregory tried to undermine the idea by bringing up anti-Semitic State Department officials…

CNBC provided coverage on the final two nights of the Republican National Convention and on Thursday, Squawk on the Street co-host and infamous GOP debate co-moderator Carl Quintanilla condemned Donald Trump’s mentioning of Americans being murdered by illegal immigrants because it reminded him of the Willie Horton ad from 1988.
