February 28th, 2014 5:46 PM
On his program The Last Word Thursday night, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell glorified the tech experts who repaired Healthcare.gov after its disastrous launch, calling them “heroes.”
And yet, the host lamented, the pocket-protector posse don’t consider themselves to be heroes. [Video below. MP3 audio here.]
AP's Kuhnhenn: Debt and Deficit Worries Are So
February 28th, 2014 4:49 PM
Perhaps I'm being too kind in describing the Associated Press as "The Administration's Press." Based on Jim Kuhnhenn's ridiculous "Don't worry, be happy" Saturday report on how unimportant he says the still growing national debt and the still historically large federal budget deficits supposedly are, maybe I should start calling the wire service "The Administration's Publicists" instead.…
Media Ignore Liberal Law Prof's 'Government Unto Himself' Warning on O
February 28th, 2014 8:12 AM
The volume of significant news going unreported in the establishment press has gone from astonishing to surreal. The best example of that, as intrepid NewsBusters posters have noted now for nine months, is the virtually complete blackout in the establishment press of developments in the IRS-conservative targeting scandal.
Separately, left-leaning law professor Jonathan Turley warned a…

February 27th, 2014 2:27 PM
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid insulted victims of ObamaCare on Wednesday – and the three major networks didn’t seem to care. [Video below. MP3 audio here.]
Speaking on the Senate floor, the Nevada Democrat lashed out at those whose lives have been hurt by the law, saying this:

February 26th, 2014 12:40 AM
On Tuesday evening, the networks continued their blackout of a CMS estimate that ObamaCare would raise health premiums for 11 million people -- almost two-thirds of small business plans.
The CMS report was released on Friday but the networks have been silent on it so far. The story wasn’t omitted from a busy news schedule, as the CBS Evening News carved out over two minutes to reminisce on…
Coverage of Dingell's Retirement Emphasizes Involvement in Obamacare
February 24th, 2014 11:00 PM
Michigan Congressman John Dingell announced his retirement today. The Democrat's career as Congress's longest-serving member will end with this session.
With the help of a related statement by President Obama, press coverage predictably placed great emphasis on Dingell's decades-long advocacy of universal health care coverage and his involvement in the 2010 passage of the Affordable Care Act…
Woman Called Liar By Democrat Over Anti-ObamaCare Ad
February 23rd, 2014 9:58 AM
Congressman Gary Peters (D-M.I.) seems to have some really thin skin as he recently threatened several Michigan TV stations for airing political ads targeting his support for ObamaCare.
In a piece in the Washington Examiner, reporter Charles Hoskinson revealed how the Michigan Democrat, who is running for Senate to replace the retiring Carl Levin, is upset over an ad produced by Americans for…
Relax, Everybody; Thanks to Unilateral Executive Actions, Obama and WH
February 22nd, 2014 11:55 AM
An early-morning report by Julie Pace at the Associated Press, aka the Administration's Press, definitely deserves space in the "You Can't Make This Up" file.
The AP's White House correspondent, surely at the suggestion of the group she is supposed to be covering objectively, writes that President Barack Obama's forays into unilateral executive action have been good for his soul. The…

February 22nd, 2014 10:11 AM
On February 10, in a rare moment of candor which was quickly edited away in subsequent revisions, Ricardo Alonso-Zaldivar at the Associated Press, aka the Administration's Press, wrote that President Obama had unilaterally instituted delays and revisions in Obamacare's employer mandate because he was "angling to avoid political peril."
Of course he was. Postponing and revising the requirement…
Michelle Obama: ‘Young People Are Knuckleheads,’ So They Need Obam
February 21st, 2014 11:22 AM
First Lady Michelle Obama insulted the young people of America during an appearance on Thursday night’s Tonight Show. Host Jimmy Fallon asked her why young people should sign up for ObamaCare if they can’t afford it, and Mrs. Obama struck a condescending note in her response. [Video below. MP3 audio here.]
“[A] lot of young people think they’re invincible,” she said. “But the truth is, young…

February 20th, 2014 10:07 AM
After Vice President Joe Biden admitted on Wednesday that the goal of getting 7 million people signed up for ObamaCare by March 31 would not happen, only Thursday's CBS This Morning made any mention of it, and then only giving the news a mere 29 seconds. Neither NBC nor ABC bothered to cover the acknowledgment of failure. [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]

Bad News for ObamaCare? Nah, Just a 'Hiccup' Say Big Three Nets
February 18th, 2014 9:04 AM
In the last couple of weeks ObamaCare has been dealt two serious setbacks: yet another delay in the employer mandate, and a devastating CBO report that claimed it will cost the equivalent of two million jobs. However, the reaction of Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) network reporters to these latest ObamaCare failures has been to blow them off as just a little “hiccup.”
When the White House…

February 14th, 2014 8:09 AM
You know this is the story the liberal media is dying to tell: Obamacare--The Triumphant Comeback! So like the dove returning to the Ark, there was the BBC's Katty Kay, guest-hosting today for Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe, first to proclaim the good news.
Based on the latest enrollment numbers, Kay enthused "amazing how quickly we are starting to see the Obamacare story change its tone…
NBC's Todd Claims Criticism of Latest ObamaCare Delay 'Doesn't Have A
February 13th, 2014 12:29 PM
Following President Obama's joint press conference with French President Francois Hollande on Tuesday, NBC chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd appeared on MSNBC to dismiss a question Obama received about the latest ObamaCare mandate delay: "Republicans are trying to paint a picture of, 'There they go again. He's changing the law'....I have a feeling this one is gonna fade a little bit.…
