NBC, CBS, CNN's Morning Shows Yawn At Church Bombing in Egypt

December 12th, 2016 1:12 PM
As of Monday morning, NBC's Today and CNN's New Day have yet to cover the deadly terrorist attack on a Coptic Christian church in Cairo, Egypt on Sunday. The NBC morning newscast's omission is particularly conspicuous, as Sunday's NBC Nightly News devoted a full report to the bombing. CBS's Sunday Morning gave the attack a one-sentence mention on December 11, 2016. However, CBS This Morning didn'…

AP, Others Fret Over Trump's 3 Ex-Military Appointments, Same As Obama

December 9th, 2016 5:15 PM
Some Democratic Party politicians who are searching for any and every possible reason to have a problem with President-Elect Donald Trump's cabinet appointments have latched on to the supposedly troubling fact that it thus far contains three retired generals out of 15 ultimate appointments. Naturally, their allies in the establishment press are amplifying these petty concerns. The Associated…

WashPost 'Editor's Note' Undermines Previous Russian Propaganda Claims

December 9th, 2016 8:21 AM
On November 24, as many of us were enjoying sumptuous Thanksgiving repasts and family time, the Washington Post published Craig Timberg's turkey of a report about how "a sophisticated Russian propaganda campaign that created and spread misleading articles online" to discredit Hillary Clinton and help Donald Trump. Very recently, probably sometime Wednesday, the Post appended an "Editor's Note"…

Remembering Pearl Harbor at 75

December 7th, 2016 1:35 PM
Only five of the 335 men who survived the unprovoked attack that sunk the USS Arizona on Dec. 7, 1941 remain alive. Donald Stratton, 94, is one of them. He has added to the historical knowledge of that day and the beginning of America's entry into World War II in a new book, "All the Gallant Men: The First Memoir By a USS Arizona Survivor."

It's Obama, Not the American People, Who Won't Listen

December 7th, 2016 1:33 PM
You have to give President Barack Obama credit for one thing: consistency. Nothing is ever his fault. Nothing will ever be his fault. Faulting Fox News and the American people, on the other hand, now that's a different story. Do you remember when Obama traipsed around the country and desperately pleaded with Americans to vote for Hillary Clinton because his agenda and his legacy were on the…

Not News: Black Lives Matter Praises Castro's Harboring of Cop-Killers

December 6th, 2016 12:09 AM
No review of the reactions of leftists and the establishment press (but I repeat myself) to the death of Fidel Castro would be complete without seeing what the wonderful, caring people at Black Lives Matter wrote after the Cuban dictator died. BLM's reaction is posted at a website called Medium.com. Since that post doesn't link elsewhere, it was possible to hope that the content there doesn't…

AP, as Castro's Ashes Interred: A 'Near-Religious Farewell'

December 4th, 2016 11:15 PM
A funny thing happened on the way to delivering Fidel Castro's ashes to their final resting place. According to an Associated Press photo caption, soldiers had to "push the jeep and trailer carrying the ashes of the late Fidel Castro after the jeep briefly stopped working during Castro’s funeral procession near Moncada Fort in Santiago, Cuba." FoxNews.com had a sense of the symbolism: "The…

Justin Trudeau: Baby-Faced Commie Apologist Unmasked

November 30th, 2016 1:56 PM
Wasn't one vapid pretty boy named Justin from Canada enough? At least Justin Bieber is eye candy without the heartburn. Justin Trudeau, on the other hand, is the twinkly-eyed boy toy who makes informed adults wanna hurl. For more than a year, the liberal Canadian prime minister enjoyed drool-stained global press coverage as the "hot hipster" and "dreamy sex symbol" with great hair and a tribal…

The Left's Love Affair with Fidel Castro

November 30th, 2016 1:50 PM
In a statement following the death of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, President Obama spoke of "the countless ways in which (Castro) altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation." That's an understatement as the thousands who have risked their lives over the years to escape from Cuba have testified.
