American Horror Story and American Crime Story producer Ryan Murphy’s first-ever Netflix drama aims to skewer the toxic lifestyles of white, privileged and mega-rich politicians that have been “percolating” under Trump. Murphy spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, unveiling his flagship streaming show The Politician, which stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Lange and airs in September.
