Univision's coverage of the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the United States Supreme Court managed to weave a grand tale about the fearsome nuclear option, while entirely omitting any mention of the partisan Democratic filibuster against Miguel Estrada. 

Univision has demonsrated, yet again, that unfettered access to abortion-on-demand remains high on the network's policy advocacy agenda, second, perhaps, only to immigration. The blatant advocacy was on full dsiplay in recent days, in a series of  Univision stories on Planned Parenthood that was perfectly timed to coincide with the PinkOut campaign on behalf of the nation's leading abortion…

De manera predecible, Univision se han unido al desfile de prensa liberal en defensa de fondos públicos tanto para la Corporación para la Difusión Pública y la cadena Radio Nacional Pública (CPB y NPR, respectivamente, por sus siglas en inglés), con un informe totalmente sesgado que no sólo se queda corto en cuanto a hechos se refiere, sino también está cargado de omisiones y falacias.

A tan sólo tres meses del comienzo  del nuevo año, podríamos haber alcanzado el colmo del 2017. La cadena Univision, tras años de guerra abierta contra los republicanos, ahora se queja sin tapujos de su falta de acceso a los republicanos en el Congreso de los Estados Unidos.

Three months into the year, we may have reached peak 2017. Univision, after years of waging open war on Republicans, is now openly complaining about lack of access to Congressional Republicans. Most of the on-the-record whining comes from Edición Nocturna (Univision's late-night newscast) co-anchor Enrique Acevedo, who has this to say to Politico's Hadas Gold:

Netflix’s fourth Marvel series Iron Fist debuted on March 17th to, well, some lackluster reception, and I can’t say that I disagree. With an unfocused storyline, mostly dull characters, and some uninspired fight scenes, there’s barely anything redeemable in all 13 episodes. The need for stronger border security has been validated from the unlikeliest of places: Univision, where a recent news report shows how drugs continue to systematically "pour in" to the country.
