Univision has joined the establishment media's laser focus on gun control in the wake of last week's horrendous school shooting in Parkland, Florida. This also means that Univision is also spreading willful misinformation in furtherance of gun control.

Telemundo anchor María Celeste Arrarás is at it again, unleashing an unhinged editorial rant targeted at U.S. Senator Marco Rubio that is laden with fallacies, inconsistencies and outright smears in furtherance of the gun control agenda so prevalent in our domestic Spanish-language news media.

U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy came on Univision's political affairs show, Al Punto, in order to be touted as a 2020 presidential candidate, and wasted no mocking the reactions of a significant portion of his fellow countrymen in the face of tragedy.

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos made yet another appearance on Anderson Cooper's AC360 - this time, to pontificate on a potential Trump deal on immigration, to lay down his own markers of what should make a deal, and to otherwise continue to push the talking-point driven racialist agenda that he passes off to his Univision viewers as journalism.

Today's story out of Miami occupies the sweet spot in the Venn diagram comprised of Univision's anti-Catholicism and its strident LGBTQ advocacy, far from the mainstream of the network's viewership. The network pulled off a neat trick- casting aspersions on longstanding religious freedom protections while slyly advocating for the proposed law that would destroy them.

Univision continues to show us that it will go to such lengths to preserve the porous border so central to its business model and continued survival, that it no longer even bothers to put quote marks around claims that current immigration policy proposals are racist. Now they just repeat such defamatory statements as fact.

Univision's latest report on the plight of displaced Puerto Ricans in Central Florida falls flat, in large part,  due to its transparently brazen effort to turn tragedy in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria into a political commodity.

Por alguna razón la revista de extrema izquierda The Nation se dio a la tarea de entrevistar al artista de Univision Music, René Pérez Joglar, mejor conocido como Residente. La entrevista, una madeja de incoherencias, disparates, y medias verdades, transcurrió como es de esperarse.

In her wake, she leaves behind some rank hypocrisy and yet another reminder that the media failed to vet its newest anti-Trump darling.

For some reason far-left magazine The Nation, as do other lefty outlets from time to time, saw fit to interview Univision recording artist Residente. The interview, an incoherent slew of hot takes, went as expected.

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos takes to Twitter once again, displaying both dangerous intransigence and clear partisan bias when it comes to his bread-and-butter issue: immigration reform. But will this all-or-nothing approach actually help advance meaningful reforms, or is it likelier to aggravate gridlock on the issue?
