For years, the media have bent over backwards to paint Republicans as racist using every indelicate comment by someone on the right to demean the entire Party. It therefore will be interesting to see if the revelation that a Michigan Democrat recently referred to a colleague as "an arrogant n---er" will get the kind of attention it most certainly would if the offender belonged to the GOP.
