On Wednesday night, President Trump had dinner at the White House with Senate and House Minority Leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. And in the wake of that development, two of the Big Three Networks (ABC and NBC), who had been almost exclusively negative about Trump for the last several months, suddenly found nice things to say about him.

“The room goes wavy. My stomach churns. I can feel the bile in the back of my throat.” That reaction to Donald Trump winning the 2016 election didn’t come from Hillary Clinton’s new memoir, it came from the pages of NBC correspondent and MSNBC anchor Katy Tur’s book about covering the campaign.

What’s more important? A staff member for a Republican senator apparently “liking” a pornographic tweet on Twitter or a Democratic senator on trial for bribery and corruption, facing possible resignation and years in prison? If you answered with the first option, then you might work for NBC News. 

In a friendly softball chat with Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, NBC’s Today show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer did their best to feel the pain of the failed Democratic presidential nominee, even calling her new book about the 2016 campaign a “literary cleanse” designed to heal the wounds of her defeat.    

During an exclusive live interview with Hillary Clinton on Wednesday’s NBC Today to promote her new book about the 2016 presidential campaign, co-host Matt Lauer was eager to enable her to keep making excuses for her loss to Donald Trump. He urged the failed Democratic nominee to go further than she had in the memoir and say that Trump “stole the election.”  

CNN’s Van Jones appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live September 12, as one of Kimmel’s guests, where he proceeded to argue for civility in politics, between the left and right. But even the far left Jones, who infamously called President Trump winning the election a “whitelash,” seemed to be outweighed in his hatred for the right by host Jimmy Kimmel.

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity was in New Hampshire on Tuesday to look into the state’s same-day voting system. And in the wake of their inquiries, the liberals of MSNBC were up in arms with claims of voter suppression and denials of voter fraud existing at all. Leading off a fawning panel discussion on Tuesday about Hillary Clinton’s new memoir rehashing the 2016 campaign, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell promised viewers a “big scoop” as she promoted the failed Democratic nominee’s “latest admission to Susan Page of USA Today that she is convinced associates of Donald Trump’s campaign helped Russia meddle in the election.”

Promoting her new book about covering Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, on Tuesday’s NBC Today, correspondent Katy Tur told co-host Matt Lauer that the then-presidential candidate’s public criticism of her reporting was “jarring” and “scary.” Lauer shared her fear as he recalled the “intense feeling” he got at Trump rallies when the Republican nominee would attack the liberal media. 

Conservative journalist Ben Shapiro was set to speak at the radically liberal University of Berkeley on Thursday where police would be present to deal with any violence from rioters. And since Berkeley was rapidly becoming anathema to free speech, Shapiro appeared on S.E. Cupp Unfiltered on Monday where he and the host raked Berkeley over the coals for being so ridiculous.

After MSNBC spent the weekend exploiting Hurricane Irma’s devastation of Florida to push the climate change agenda, on Monday, anchor Andrea Mitchell turned to Daily Beast Politics Editor Sam Stein and worried: “...climate change. It is something – Sam, you’ve been writing about this – something that has not been raised in much of the coverage.”

Twice this week, PBS's Tavis Smiley show has hosted guests from the far-left The Nation magazine, giving them an unchallenged forum to promote their views of the Trump administration and Republicans.
