On Wednesday, all three network morning shows were in full panic mode over President Trump’s upcoming decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In the midst of the collective freak-out, hosts and correspondents warned that the “dangerous” move could lead to a “new wave of violence” across the Middle East and even inspire “terrorist attacks in the west.”

On Tuesday’s edition of the liberal Republican group therapy show known as Deadline: White House, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace and New York Times columnist Bret Stephens celebrated Republican Senator Jeff Flake’s donation to Alabama Democratic senatorial candidate Doug Jones as a sign of “hope” that some in the party will stand up to against Roy Moore and President Trump.

During the 7 a.m. ET hour of Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie informed viewers of a “major win for the Trump administration in the U.S. Supreme Court” as a majority of the justices upheld the President’s travel ban. However, just one hour later, correspondent Kristen Welker appeared on the morning show and dismissed the news as only a “minor” victory for the White House.

In its desperation to avoid any discussion of a potential major legislative win for the Trump administration and congressional Republicans, Monday’s NBC Today devoted an astonishing 15 times more coverage to the morning show’s fired co-host Billy Bush attacking President Trump in a New York Times op/ed than to the GOP tax bill working its way through Congress. 

Late Sunday afternoon on MSNBC, Yale School of Medicine forensic psychologist Bandy Lee seemed to hint at the need for the overthrow of Presidents Trump, proclaiming that he’s so mentally unstable that “[w]e must act soon” or risk him turning violent with catastrophic consequences for all of us.

During the political panel discussion on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, moderator Chuck Todd fretted that the removal of an FBI agent from Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation for sending anti-Trump text messages might be “bordering into thought police territory.” The group proceeded to worry that the President would use the incident to discredit the probe. 

Early Saturday night, ABC suspended chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross for only four weeks without pay for the latest and most egregious error of the journalist’s career, falsely claiming on Friday that candidate Donald Trump had instructed Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials.

WASHINGTON -- I never expected to come to the defense of The New York Times, but here I am ready and willing to defend what I have hitherto called the Bad Times, as opposed to the Good Times, that being the Washington Times. The New York Times has always been biased, but with the rise of Donald Trump, it has become unbearably biased. Even the obituaries are biased. 

During MSNBC’s Velshi & Ruhle on Friday, the liberal co-anchors were giddy at the prospect that former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn pleading guilty to making false statements to the FBI in the Russia investigation would bring the entire Republican legislative agenda to a “screeching halt.”
