In Series Finale, ‘Designated Survivor’ Takes Jab at Brexit
Culture
ABC’s Designated Survivor was abruptly canceled last week, so the May 16 episode "Run" was the last time the series could make yet another biased statement. In a year filled with gun-control pleas, Republican smears, and even the threat to oust a president, the series finale was almost unremarkable. However, not even the Kiefer Sutherland-led show could resist making one last political jab this…

During the May 16 episode of Fox’s Star, ICE agents were portrayed as unfeeling ogres, as is currently the style this season on network television shows, but this one hit a new low. Christian Fascist Society Offers Child Brides In 'The Handmaid's Tale'
Culture
Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale is obviously more pro-left-wing-feminism than pro-Christianity. In fact, the series disparages Christianity any chance it can get. The latest episode provides another example with the fascist Christian society America will supposedly turn into, called Gilead, somehow justifying child brides.

Curtain Falls For Good on NBC's Liberal High School Drama 'Rise'
Culture
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” This famous quote attributed to Dr. Seuss applies to many things in life, but NBC’s high school drama Rise is not one of them. If anything, we should cry because it happened, and smile now that it is finally over. Unlike the show’s title Rise, every episode in this debut season continued to sink to new lows, so we can also smile over the…

ABC Drama Makes Character Possibly Based on Blagojevich a Republican
Culture
ABC’s legal drama For The People has covered a lot of social justice topics in its short run on television, quite a few of them based on real-life events. However, the Shondaland series may have hit a new low by rewriting history to suit their liberal needs. The May 15 episode “Extraordinary Circumstances” resembles that of an infamous case against a Democrat governor but with a significant party…
New Panthers' Owner is Trump-Hating Media Darling
Culture
In the current era of protesting, woke, social justice warrior-athletes, the media deride NFL owners who oppose them as out-of-touch "white billionaires." However, today many in the sports media are making an exception to that narrative with the arrival of David Tepper, the white billionaire hedge fund manager and new owner of the Carolina Panthers. He's earning a hero's welcome with his history…

‘Black Panther’ Star Tells Grads Your ‘Purpose’ Comes from God
Culture
While several news outlets covered a recent speech by Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, their headlines ignored his comments acknowledging God. And in an entertainment world that’s often hostile to Christianity, that’s no small feat. On May 12, Boseman delivered the 2018 commencement speech at his alma mater, Howard University. During his remarks at the historically black college, he cited the…
Major Networks Buy into Hamas Propaganda Over Israel’s Border Battle
Culture
Two of the three major news networks have been feeding into the pro-hamas, anti-Israel/anti-Trump propaganda this week. Both ABC and NBC’s evening news segments showed blatant bias towards the violent protesters in Gaza during the official unveiling of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, completely disregarding Hamas’s history of manufacturing casualties real and fake to bring international condemnation…
