Bias by omission reared its ugly leftist head again over the weekend after a pro-Hamas protest started looking a little riot-ish, shaking fences at the White House as the Secret Service emerged in riot gear. But ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS were just too busy focusing on Donald Trump or other Republican "hardliners" to notice these radicals and their many "Genocide Joe" signs.
The same networks that ran many hours of January 6 Committee hearings suddenly can't find this. Only one side has disreputable rioters.
Fox's Lucas Tomlinson reported on Sunday that thousands of anti-Israel protesters showed up at the White House yelling “F--- Joe Biden” and “long live the intifada.” The Park Service scrambled Eagle, its helicopter, to monitor the protest high above the White House. The Secret Service donned riot gear and ordered the evacuation of reporters from the North Lawn and any White House staff working while the president was at Camp David. But the press didn't think the evacuation of the press was newsworthy...
In London, the New York Post reported a pro-Palestinian speaker issued a call to “normalize massacres” during a demonstration on Saturday in support of a cease-fire in Gaza, prompting police to look into the matter.
Why aren't these pro-Hamas nuts "hardliners"? Because they're ignored, there's that. But the pro-Biden suggests all "hardliners" are Republicans, especially the ones in the House who don't like budget deals with over-spending Democrats. On PBS, they discussed how Speaker Mike Johnson couldn't "constrain" his "hardliners" at they launch impeachment inquiries toward President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Majorkas.
The media can't find a "far-left" because they ARE on the far-left. They love and promote AOC and Ilhan Omar. Look no further than recently dismissed MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, who proclaimed the "far left" and the "far right" aren't equally fringy at all, because “America's far left wants to give us free health care and free child care. America’s far right wants to give us white supremacy and no democracy.”
