As the networks show us grisly photos of dead civilians lying in the streets of Ukraine, when most people could agree what Vladimir Putin is a deeply evil man, CNN and Brian Stelter touted a hot take (attributed to President Biden) that Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch is somehow "the most dangerous man in the world." The last we checked, Murdoch hadn't mowed down any civilians.
Stelter began his show decrying Fox News for "demonizing Disney" and making an issue out of the left-wing desire to teach transgender theory to children in kindergarten. He threw transgender advocate Charlotte Clymer a big softball about how America has an ugly history of anti-LGBT bigotry and Fox is just continuing it.
We wrap up with a little disgust at Chuck Todd's softball Meet the Press interview with Hillary Clinton, where Todd suggested that the Russians feared Hillary Clinton as so much fiercer than Trump. Hello? Putin invaded Ukraine on either side of Trump, but not during Trump.
