The Trump Collusion Pushers at CNN are remarkably unwilling to acknowledge that the Other Campaign was digging for oppo-research dirt on Trump using Russian contacts. One might argue they are either (a) dumb or (b) playing dumb about the Clinton "collusion" in Russia.
In the second hour of his radio show on Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh replayed CNN Inside Politics anchor John King completely ignoring the spy the Clintons sent to Russia. Limbaugh attacked King as "disingenuous" and said "You're better than this." To the video:
JOHN KING: To that point, this is Rush Limbaugh -- golfed last week with the president. Rush Limbaugh often makes intellectual cases. You can disagree with them. He takes conservative positions. This one -- let's listen. I've got a few beefs on the other side.
LIMBAUGH [to Martha McCallum]: Hillary Clinton needs to be investigated, she needs to be indicted, and she needs to be in jail...
You talk about sour grapes. This is a woman who's been rejected by the American people twice. Rejected by her party in 2008, she had to rig the primaries against Crazy Bernie in 2016 to get the nomination. She is the last person who ought to be listened to about what ought to happen to Donald Trump.
KING: If you listen to a lot of what he says, he's talking about how this is Hillary Clinton's fault, this investigation. So I'm trying to figure out how -- while Hillary Clinton was mad at James Comey, for coming out and publicly saying things that may or may not have cost Hillary Clinton the election, it certainly didn't help her politically.
She somehow got James Comey to also launch a counterintelligence investigation of the president of the United States, and then she got all these people who work for Donald Trump -- read the Mueller report, if you're a Republican voter -- to cooperate with Bob Mueller to say awful things about him, Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton's that powerful!?
Limbaugh said he never said anything about Hillary telling Trump aides how to speak to Mueller.
In their book Shattered, liberal authors Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes reported that within 24 hours of losing, Hillary Clinton was ordering her campaign to argue that the election was hacked by Russia. Hillary wanted to insure “all these narratives get spun the right way," one "longtime ally" told Allen and Parnes. That spin continues day after day on CNN.
King and CNN weren't going to quote Rush in this same interview on the point of the Clinton contacts with Russians: "You know this is the irony. Hillary Clinton is who tried to rig a presidential election, Martha. Hillary Clinton and her pals in the Obama Department of Justice and the FBI, they are the ones who colluded with the Russians. They are the ones that gave us this entirely totally bogus Steele dossier."
A sentient "news" person should know that Trump campaign adviser Carter Page was surveilled based in part on a request to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance court that used the Steele Dossier, and that submission did not mention that the Steele Dossier was funded by the Clinton campaign. But CNN pretends these facts are somehow "Fox propaganda."
