Brian Maloney at the Radio Equalizer blog reports that Rosie O’Donnell thinks cheating Arnold Schwarzenegger is somehow beneath the history of the Kennedy family – as if cheating were never allowed among the Kennedys?
Perhaps it should be said that Maria Shriver’s parents, Sargent Shriver and Eunice Kennedy Shriver, seemed to have a happy, long-lasting marriage of 56 years. But Rosie might want to be careful about boasting of a Kennedy "legacy" on this topic of womanizing:
ROSIE O'DONNELL: There is a legacy of the Shrivers in America, of the Kennedy/Shrivers, right? And it's not the Schwarzeneggers, and I always felt like, you know – He, this Republican guy, kinda snuck in and...
BOBBY PEARCE (staffer): She married beneath her.
O'DONNELL: ...I don’t know, I always felt that's not my place to say. But I always did feel that, and, I feel like, "You don’t have a right to that legacy"...
PEARCE: And he proved it.
Over at the "Ask Ro" portion of O'Donnell's website, a fan ripped on Adam Carolla's mockery of Rosie over her feeling Osama bin Laden should have had a trial:
randi Writes:
I used 2 like Adam Carolla, but now I think he is an IDIOT after what he said about u. Does he not have the basic intelligence 2 comprehend that u simply asked a ? about some ppl's opinions?
Rosie replied: "i agree". Here's what Carolla said on his radio show:
I heard that Rosie O'Donnell thinks we treated Osama Bin Laden unfairly and should have given him a trial. Wow, Rosie, it must be nice to sit up high in your tower and look down at all the unevolved people. You're operating on such a higher emotional plane than the rest of us.
Look: Osama bin Laden is a mass murderer, and so we murdered him. We should dedicate an entire week to this celebration. And Rosie, I don't think you really believe what you said; you're just angry. I get that society has treated you poorly in the past, but give it a rest. That, or move to Cuba.
