Six years ago, Newsweek sold for a grand total of one dollar. Many would say that amount was way overpriced and one big reason is the completely unprofessional sick smear job they are pulling on Donald Trump.
An example is an article written by culture writer Ryan Bort, who makes no attempt to hide his Trump hate. Bort used a timeline of rough years throughout human history to exhibit his Trump Derangement Syndrome. Somehow, Bort felt it pertinent to go as far as to even link Trump and the Bubonic Plague from the year 1347.
Hate crime rates rose as white-supremacists became newly emboldened by their dear leader's hateful rhetoric.
If you are still not sure if Bort was referring to Trump, his description by name for the year 2015 should resolve the matter:
Donald Trump reintroduced himself into the lives of Americans as a power-hungry xenophobe, which was amusing until he started winning.
Finally, Bort's Trump obsession worked itself back seven centuries to reveal the unhealthy extent of his hate:
The Bubonic Plague, or Black Death, spreads from Asia into Europe, ultimately killing over 100 million people, including between 30 to 60 percent of Europe's total population. Though today we might joke about blobs of foam as harbingers the apocalypse, the end of civilization was actually in play less than 700 years ago. There's a reason Hollywood keeps making movies that center around a disease outbreak. It's the most plausible phenomenon that could wipe out humanity that doesn't involve Donald Trump.
Perhaps Newsweek will pretend that no one reviewed Bort's over-the-top hate screed just as they claimed nobody saw their "Madame President" issue before it was published.
