The NBC Tonight Show began Friday with a humorous segment featuring host Jay Leno trying to smother a sleeping Jimmy Fallon with a pillow.
The bit begins with Fallon sleeping on a couch in the Green Room.
As the camera panned left, viewers could see Leno tip-toeing into the room holding a pillow in his extended arms.
As he neared the couch, Fallon suddenly woke up asking, “Hey Jay, what are you doing?”
“I saw you resting,” Leno said.
Pointing to the couch’s armrest, he continued, “It's kind of hard so I'm bringing you a pillow to make you more comfortable. Okay?”
Fallon just said, “Thanks,” and stared into the camera with a terrified look as Leno left the room.
