The voice-over actor fired this week by GEICO for leaving a disgusting voice-mail message at the offices of FreedomWorks struck back Thursday with a video further disparaging Tea Party members.
"During the final days of the healthcare debate, FreedomWorks, headed by heartthrob Matt Kibbe and Dick Armey, herded their angry teabagging mob to the Capitol steps," began Lance Baxter aka D.C. Douglas.
"Among the chants, racist signs, and blinding white skin, were certain inventive members who shouted racial and homophobic slurs at the Congressmen as they strode toward the historic vote."
After playing a number of voice-mail messages he's received since this story broke -- none of them as disgusting as the one he left for FreedomWorks -- Baxter concluded (video follows with additional lowlights and commentary, mild vulgarity and partial nudity warning, h/t Political Carnival via tweet from Sister Toldjah):
FreedomWorks members and Teabaggers are just smart people who really want me to have a nice day. They just don't like facts, gay Congressman, or black presidents.
Speaking of facts, Andrew Breitbart is still offering a reward to anyone that can prove that racial slurs were actually shouted a members of Congress that day.
Rather than continuing to spread unsubstantiated allegations, Baxter ought to try to prove them.
Regardless, GEICO must be so proud of the man that used to do voice-overs in its commercials.
For the record, Baxter wasn't the voice of the gecko. He was the voice-over announcer who appears to be continuing to stab himself in the back with his unprofessional behavior.
Makes you wonder when MSNBC will be offering him a job.
Stay tuned.
