UPDATE AT END OF POST: Second one doesn't mention abortion either.
The first of the two Pro-Life Super Bowl ads featuring college football's Tim Tebow and his mother has been made available on the Internet, and it doesn't even mention or refer to abortion.
Steven Ertelt of LifeNews.com posted it a few hours ago; makes you wonder what all the fuss was about.
As you watch, keep in mind that this was the one CBS rejected for airing during the actual game, and will only be shown during pre-game festivities (video embedded below the fold with transcript, h/t Hot Air):
PAM TEBOW: I call him my miracle baby. He almost didn't make it into this world. I remember so many times when I almost lost him. It was so hard. Well he's all grown up now, and I still worry about his health. Everybody treats him like he's different, but to me, he's just my baby. He's my Timmy, and I love him.
TIM TEBOW: Thanks mom. Love you too.
As Ed Morrissey wrote moments ago:
Besides calling her Heisman Trophy winning son a "miracle baby," the ad never discusses explicitly the heartbreaking choice offered to Pam Tebow during her pregnancy. For that, the ad refers viewers back to Focus on the Family. Just remember that this was the commercial that infuriated feminists when you're watching the GoDaddy commercials and skimpily-dressed women selling beer.
Indeed.
If this is what the pro-abortion crowd finds offensive, they need to get a Life!
*****Update: The second ad -- the one that aired during the actual game -- also didn't mention abortion.
