Did you know that last year's banking crisis was all President George W. Bush's fault, and that when he left the White House in January, he "walked out the door with all the money?"
You didn't?
Well, that's what comedienne Roseanne Barr thinks.
Such was said by Barr at an ACORN event in Watts, California, nine months ago, in a video just discovered by The Fox Nation (video embedded below the fold with partial transcript and details):
I know that [Barack Obama] can only do what he can do with what was left. I mean, George Bush walked out the door with all the money...Like not even half of what the lesser thieves stole. That's what he left for the American people to like make their way on, and put Obama in a tough, he dug Obama such a deep hole. It's just not, you know. Anything that Obama does is just fantastic...And he has done fantastic things, and I hope he does some more.
For a little background, according to the Huffington Post, this event occurred on February 19, and was sponsored by ACORN to protest foreclosures in the neighborhood.
Much like the Nobel committee, Barr was already convinced Obama had done great things...in THIRTY DAYS.
Isn't it also fabulous to see Barr singing the praises of an organization that just a few months later was going to be thoroughly disgraced and lose its federal funding?
And how about her referring to Maria Shriver as a Republican?
Honestly, with her knowledge of politics, she REALLY should be a member of ABC's "The View."
