NBC News is not a good-faith actor. That much was clear during Monday’s edition of Nightly News as the network falsely suggested in back-to-back segments that the Republican Party was against President Biden’s policy of caring for unaccompanied minors at the border, and were directing suppression efforts against black voters in Georgia.
Continuing to give aid to the Biden administration, the program still refused to admit there was a crisis at the border. Instead, anchor Lester Holt introduced the immigration segment by noting the “worsening situation at the border.”
And it was correspondent Antonia Hylton who tried to downplay the fact the Biden administration was keeping migrant children in cages, which NBC and the left decried during the Trump administration. “According to new data obtained by NBC News, a record 5,400 unaccompanied children are now being held in Border Patrol's jail-like facilities,” she spun on behalf of the President.
From there, Hylton suggested that the only reason Republicans were upset about Biden’s border policy was because the White House was being kind to the children:
HYLTON: Republicans, who just toured the border blasting President Biden for changing border policy, allowing unaccompanied children in.
SEN. TED CRUZ (R-TX): This crisis that is unfolding, is the direct result of political decisions made by Joe Biden and his administration. [Transition] What Joe Biden has done now is he's essentially invited illegal immigration.
Of course, Hylton didn’t want to share the video Senator Cruz post on Twitter over the weekend showing Biden’s treatment of minors which disregarded their dignity.
Immediately following their immigration segment, Holt and correspondent Blayne Alexander set out to spew lies about Georgia’s new elections law. And during the lead into the report, Holt projected his opinion as fact by claiming, without evidence, “Georgia’s new law [was] restricting voting rights.” But they never explained exactly how that was happening.
But Alexander wasn’t burdened by the facts as she cheered on liberal calls to boycott companies based in Georgia:
In the battle over the ballot, Georgia's economy is increasingly caught in the middle, with calls for boycotts growing louder after the Republican-led state legislature passed a sweeping new elections law that would, among other things, limit the use of ballot drop boxes and require I.D. to apply for mail-in ballots instead of signature verification.
She added: “And across the internet, growing calls to boycott Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and Home Depot, all Georgia-based giants.”
Does this also apply to Atlanta-based CNN?
And even though she included a soundbite of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) explaining that ID was needed to vote in-person any way and they would issue IDs for free, Alexander discounted it. “The National Black Justice Coalition is urging the famed Masters Tournament to relocate from its Augusta National home, writing in part, ‘professional golf should not reward Georgia's attacks on democracy,’” she touted.
All of this was evidence to the fact that NBC could not foster an honest conversation.
NBC’s lies and smears against Republicans were made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Consumer Cellular and Liberty Mutual. Their contact information is linked for you can tell them about the biased news they fund.

Changes that Republicans say helped secure the process.
GOV. BRIAN KEMP (R): So, people are used to using the I.D. to vote in Georgia. [Transition] And if you don't have I.D., we'll give you one for free.
BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTESTERS: No justice, no peace! No justice, no peace!
ALEXANDER: But critics call it voter suppression, saying black voters are more likely to be impacted by the changes.

The National Black Justice Coalition is urging the famed Masters Tournament to relocate from its Augusta National home, writing in part, “professional golf should not reward Georgia's attacks on democracy.” And across the internet, growing calls to boycott Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and Home Depot, all Georgia-based giants.
