With many votes and key states still outstanding Wednesday morning in the aftermath of Election Day 2020, one of the few clear things was that predictions from pollsters and the media were AGAIN grossly inaccurate. And AGAIN, they showed the Democratic candidate with a larger lead than actually panned out. Embodying the frustrations of millions of Americans around the country, conservative View co-host Meghan McCain put out a series of tweets unloading on those groups, accusing them of gaslighting us.
Shortly before 11:00 p.m. Eastern, McCain posted her first critical tweet. “Trump doing better than was predicted by the vast majority already... The big loser tonight are the pollsters and most of the media who no one will ever believe anymore,” she wrote.
It wasn’t until early Wednesday morning when McCain declared that American pollsters should find new jobs. “Modern American polling is dead and modern American pollsters should find another vocation so they stop wasting all of our collective time and helping to gaslight the media and American public,” she declared.

This tweet solicited a demand of “LEARN TO CODE” from Bridget Phetasy.
Shifting gears to putting the media through the wringer, McCain unleashed on them is a pair of tweets. “I have always thought the single most dangerous message to come from the media and the left this summer was ‘mostly peaceful protest’...” the first one said.
“At what point is our collective media going to accept just how out of touch with the majority of the country they are?!?,” she demanded to know in the second.
She added: “I predict they won’t, they will just quadruple down - rather than accept, learn and try to actually represent so many of the voters they so clearly disdain.”

I predict they won’t, they will just quadruple down - rather than accept, learn and try to actually represent so many of the voters they so clearly disdain.
As if the writing of this piece, Democratic nominee Joe Biden held a narrow lead in Wisconsin of less than 10,000 votes, only leading Trump by .3 percent. According to the RealClear Politics average on Election Day, Biden was favored to win by 6.7 percent.
Clearly, McCain was on to something. Her sentiment was shared with CNN political commentator Van Jones, who proclaimed: “These polls are not to be trusted.”
