Poor WashPost: Their Trump SOTU Video Drew Flood of Pro-Trump Comments

The Washington Post makes no secret of its hatred of Trump, right down to the daily slogan on the front of the newspaper, "Democracy Dies in Darkness." So it had to be frustrating that commenters under the paper's YouTube video of Trump's State of the Union speech were so positive.

We wouldn't normally report on the comments section, but this had to annoy the Post. This is an exception, and indicates the speech was a huge home run for Trump last night, so much that it had the Speaker ripping the speech in half in frustration.

-- "Best accomplishment in less than 3 years in office."

-- "I wonder who wrote this speech, because it's amazing."

-- "This is one of the best State of the Union addresses that I’ve ever heard. If this doesn’t move you, I don’t know if you love this country the same way I do."

-- "Trump approval ratings are 49% don’t forget he is loved don’t let the media fool you you aren’t alone!"

They weren't fans of the Democrats, either.

-- "I’m old enough to have watched many State of the Union speeches, but I have never seen anyone who sat behind the president be as openly disrespectful as Pelosi."

-- "It looks like that hour and 15 minutes was 3 weeks long for Nancy! Pretending to read the notes just made me laugh!"

-- "Wait so she’s wearing white for women but doesn’t clap for the lowest women’s unemployment in 70 years?"

-- "The Dead Sea is 9.6 times as salty as the ocean. But it still isn't as salty as Democrats were tonight."
