As you'll see in the mashup, Morning Joe taunted President Trump today with a barrage of insults, casting the election results as a huge loss for the President, and depicting him as "freaked-out, weak, battered, confused."
And what kind of human being taunts a father about his children going to jail? Answer: Joe Scarborough, who sneeringly claimed:
"He thinks he's going to stop his children, if they've done something wrong, from going to jail? They'll just be in state jail [instead of federal jail.]"
Have you ever seen a show so gleefully dance on someone's political grave? And the irony is that this may well be a case of premature prancing. President Trump is far from dead, politically.
We'll see who has the last laugh.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: This thumping; just how badly Donald Trump lost on Tuesday night, how horrible he is for the Republican party nationwide . . . [people] saying he's going to destroy the Republican party? They don't have to wait five years from now: he's doing it right now.
Yeah, they won a couple of Senate seats in the reddest of red states where Donald Trump won by 20 points. So what? Big deal.
. . .
MIKA BRZEZINSKI: He lost--big time, yesterday.
. . .
JOE: Donald Trump was freaked out yesterday. Everybody could see how freaked-out he was . . . He got trounced. Donald Trump was humiliated, he as weak, he was battered, he was confused . . . He was just baffled! He didn't know what to do! He was freaking out! Just like a little kid in a sandbox, trying to kick sand on other people.
Just how weak he is now, how vulnerable he is now . . . he was beaten so badly.
"He thinks he's going to stop his children, if they've done something wrong, from going to jail? They'll just be in state jail [instead of federal jail.]"
